While the control group showed a trend toward younger age (p=0.072, Table 1 ), this difference was not statistically significant, and all participants were within the same adult age range with no known oral or systemic conditions that would independently affect oral microbiota.
LRR showed a trend toward worse OS (p = 0.072).
3 ): salt‐sensitive rats showed increased α L (smoother) for systolic BP ( P = 0.012 and P = 0.007, respectively) and diastolic BP ( P = 0.013 and P = 0.008, respectively); protected rats showed a trend toward an increased α S for systolic BP ( P = 0.072).
However, the changes in the mean scores of the BPI interference subdimension showed a trend of different treatment responses by cluster (p = 0.072, effect of time × cluster interaction; Fig. 2 C).

Furthermore, only (former) wheezing illness cases still showed a trend towards a different overall microbial community composition at follow-up compared with their respective controls (R 2 0.023, p=0.072) ( figure 3 ).
They also showed a trend toward lower chance of progressive disease in the LN5High group [1 out of 28 (LN5high) vs 17 out of 69 (LN5low); P = 0.072).
In the binary logistic regression, altered level of consciousness (odds ratio [OR]: 37; 95% confidence interval (95%CI): 2.8–474; p = 0.006) and ICU admission (OR: 42; 95%CI: 2.9–416; p = 0.002) were associated with in-hospital mortality, while neurological coinfection showed a trend towards significant association (OR: 5.3; 95%CI: 0.86–32.99; p = 0.072).
CD163 expression was increased only in intermediate and non-classical monocytes ( P = 0.0008 and 0.006, respectively), a trend toward higher TF expression was seen particularly in the classical monocytes ( P = 0.07), whereas PD1 showed a trend toward lower expression mainly in the intermediate and non-classical monocytes ( P = 0.072 for both subsets).
