Although the reverse MR analysis yielded a nominally significant effect, this observation may reflect reverse causation or feedback bias rather than a true causal effect of meningiomas on FLT3 levels.

We first selected rs10489202, a Han Chinese GWAS risk SNP, which was nominally significant in subsequent replications 5 , 8 .
The nominally significant SNP associations identified in the present review should be regarded as preliminary, hypothesis-generating results.
Initially, the IVW method was conducted as the primary analysis, based on which we separately performed a false discovery rate (FDR) correction (Benjamini and Hochberg) for nominally significant associations between immune traits (with a total of 28 subgroups from 4 types comprising 7 panels) and BMD to control for the proportion of false positives in multiple testing.
FLI1 was significantly reduced in RC tumors (P Adjusted = 0.017), while SENCR was only nominally significant (P Nominal = 8.48 × 10 −5 ), indicating a stronger effect for this DMR at FLI1 ( Figure S4 ).
The APOE- ε 4 allele also shows a nominally significant association with lifespan.
KO entries and COG functional categories showing nominally significant differences between the two groups were identified.
Candidate gene analysis revealed several nominally significant associations with plasma MI, most notably for SLC5A11 (solute carrier family 5 member 11), encoding a sodium-coupled inositol transporter, also known as SMIT2 (sodium-dependent myo -inositol transporter 2).
Severe exacerbations In the overall population, BGF resulted in a nominally significant reduction in annualized severe exacerbations versus GFF, and numerical reductions versus BFF and BUD/FORM (Table 2 ).
Of the nominally significant metabolic features changed between WT and B6.Del16 +/ Bdh1-Tfrc samples, only 22 were shared between the male and female datasets (Fig. 3A , full details in Supplement), highlighting the sex-dependent effect of the 3q29 deletion on the metabolic environment.
Discrimination while receiving service in stores or restaurants showed a nominally significant association with late-stage diagnosis (adjusted OR = 2.11, 95% CI: 1.05–4.25), though this did not survive correction for multiple testing.
Even if some nominally significant associations were found with the first cohort, their number, nature and strength did not argue for their usefulness in clinical practice.
Five features, including 2 families ( Verrucomicrobiaceae and Enterobacteriaceae ) and 3 genera ( Akkermansia , Blautia , and Ruminococcus ), were nominally significant.
Although no single antigen met a stringent FDR significance threshold, 10 EBV antigen-specific antibody responses showed nominal elevation in IPF, with 2 remaining nominally significant after sex adjustment and 5 additional antibody responses reaching significance only in linear regression models.
The nominally significant associations — particularly the higher documentation of stress and headache in women, and of getting angry easily and short-term memory problems in men — may represent genuine sex-specific patterns, but require replication in larger, diagnosis-stratified samples before firm conclusions can be drawn.
In the aggregated data ( Table 4 ) we find a nominally significant association of COL8A1 and NRXN1 rearrangements with TS (p-values of 0.004 and 0.03 respectively).
Thirty‐eight variants were considered to be nominally significant associated with risk of EC or ESCC, whereas the rest showed non‐association.
The association with P -value < 0.005 (0.05/10) was considered a significant association, and a P -value < 0.05 and ≥ 0.005 was regarded as nominally significant after Bonferroni adjustment.
A subsequent post hoc analysis indicated that the LDp/CDp-treated patients PDSS-2 total score within-group improvement from baseline in the active-controlled trial was clinically meaningful and nominally statistically significant, as well as showed the between-group PDSS-2 total score was nominally significant versus oral-treated patients [ 16 ].
Sixteen and forty-three nominally significant SNPs were obtained in DC1 and DC2, respectively, 14 of which were in common (Table 2 and File s1 ).
In all 3 genes, we observed nominally significant associations.
However, there was a nominally significant association between the CETP PRS and sepsis.
A nominally significant set of genes was defined from the comparisons.
Genes nominally significant at the 5% level following this adjustment were considered as candidates for multigene models.
23 Additionally, a nominally significant reduction in HAM-D17 score at week 6 was also observed.
