Only one of these 15 SNPs (rs2815752 in NEGR1 ) was found to have a nominally significant association with PCOS (χ 2 = 6.11, P = 0.013), but this association failed to replicate in the case-control study.

In the large-scale GWAS of Japanese, rs12702634-C demonstrated nominally significant increased risk of ILD in general populations (OR=1.25, 95% CI 1.05 to 1.49, p=0.013; online supplementary table 7 ). 17 No association with any smoking behaviours was observed (p>0.18). 18 The RA-ILD risk variant of rs12702634 was located in the intron region of RPA3 and UMAD1 ( figure 1B ).
The additive model retrieved a nominally significant difference in the same component (IC29), which however did not survive correction for multiple testing ( F 4,533 = 4.35; P = 0.013; and P FDR = 0.239).
In benign tumors, nominally significant correlations were observed between D and K trans (r = 0.621, p = 0.013) and between D and iAUC (r = 0.615, p = 0.015).
Left hippocampus, showed a nominally significant volume reduction in 15q11.2deletion carriers compared to non-CNV carriers ( B = −0.46, SE = 0.18, p = 0.013, p FDR = 0.066), whereas carriers of any other SZ-CNVs showed no significant difference (Fig. 1 and Supplemental Tables 3 and 4 ).
Single marker analysis revealed nominally significant p-values for 3 of the 5 SNP markers selected for PITX1 : rs28330 ( p = 0.013), rs3805663 ( p = 0.0061), and rs1700488 ( p = 0.0191) (Table 2 ).
We observed significant associations of rs12212067 genotype with the DAS28, swollen joint count, and CRP level and a nominally significant association with the HAQ score ( P = 0.013, although the stringent bootstrap correction for interindividual correlation meant that the corrected P value was 0.11).
TRX2 is nominally significant for an excess synonymous polymorphism relative to the remaining neutral gene set, by MLHKA test results ( P = 0.0132).
We also observed nominally significant effects of childhood maltreatment on healthcare costs in the IVW MR analyses (the effect of overall maltreatment on healthcare costs with the smallest P -value = 0.0138; Table 1 ); however, we did not obtain consistent results in weighted median MR analysis.
Notably, ANO10 (c.203-2 AG > G) heterozygous carriers also exhibited a nominally significant reduction in full-arm length (Mann–Whitney U test, p- value = 0.0139, Fig. 3d ), although the association test ( p- value = 4.12 × 10 −5 ) did not surpass the level of significance required by Bonferroni correction, likely because the correction approach is highly conservative and would tend to “overcorrect” the variants in the context of a mild or small effect 48 .
The comparator, metformin, also exhibited a significant negative association with progression to ICU admission (OR 0.49; CI 95 0.35–0.68; p < 0.001) and a nominally significant association with progression to mechanical ventilator status (OR 0.50; CI 95 0.29–0.85; p = 0.014), consistent with the secondary findings of the COVID-OUT randomized controlled trial. 31 We did not observe a significant association with progression to either ICU admission or mechanical ventilator status for either carvedilol or quetiapine following multiple hypothesis correction.
Genotype Differences in AQ and SPQ Scores For the AQ, females showed nominally significant differences between the three genotypes for the AQ-Social ( p =0.014), AQ-Communication ( p =0.041), and the AQ-Imagination ( p =0.0009) subscales ( Table 1 ).
There were nominally significant associations on an additive model for the 3-repeat DRD4 allele (p = 0.014) with impulsive aggressive behavior, and the SERT VNTR (STin2: 12 vs . 9 and 10 repeat alleles; p = 0.050) with cognitive impulsivity.
There was not significant Mn × sex interaction for cg02042823 ( A2BP1 ) ( p = 0.06), although the association between prenatal Mn and DNAm of cg02042823 was nominally significant among females ( B for each doubling of Mn = 1.08%; p = 0.014) but met statistical significance after adjustment for multiple comparisons among males ( B for each doubling of Mn = 3.40%; FDR = 1.10 × 10 –4 ).
Rs2814707 heterozygote frequency decreased also with age and the difference between oldest and youngest group was nominally significant ( p = 0.014) but did not survive Bonferroni correction ( Table 1 ).
When CA increased further, the scores of AVAT declined in similar trends among LL and S carriers ( F (1, 359) = 0.096, p = 0.76) and only the main effect of genotype was nominally significant ( F (1, 359) = 6.05, p = 0.014, Partial η 2 = 0.017) ( Fig 2b ).
In our meta-analysis, one of the top six loci from that study, cg04528060 on chromosome 4 within the ADP-ribosylation factor-like 9 ( ARL9 ) gene, demonstrated a nominally significant association with Cd ( β 1 = − 0.49 , p -value = 0.014 ), with the same direction of effect.
3a ), we saw nominally significant over-transmission of PGS NDC,DDD in 1,567 families not included in the original GWAS (pTDT deviation 0.062, paired t -test P = 0.014).
20 Another research indicated that there was a modest causality for psoriasis on type 2 diabetes ( p = 1.6E4, OR = 1.01), and a nominally significant causality for type 2 diabetes on psoriasis ( p = 0.014, OR = 1.05). 21 Considering that psoriasis was a systemic inflammatory disease, FI seems to be more reasonable and clinically relevant than a single factor to assess psoriasis risk, which has been applied in skin cancer. 22 The underlying mechanism by which FI increases the risk of psoriasis remains unclear.
Although only nominally significant in the gender-heart failure interaction analysis ( P = 0.014), in a separate analysis within males and females, TMAO was elevated in male ICM (FC = 1.95, adjusted p value = 0.018) and DCM (FC = 1.96, adjusted p value = 0.026) compared to male donor hearts, whereas it was not significantly different between female HF and female donor hearts.

For time series analysis, the standard deviation of the oximetry distribution was nominally significant (HR 0.81, 95% CI 0.68–0.97, p = 0.014), but not by the pre-specified significance level ( p < 0.013).
In the sensitivity analysis additionally adjusting for surgical approach and time-to-surgery (Supplementary Table S3) , estimates for mortality, sepsis, and any coded complication were similar to the primary model, but respiratory failure showed a nominally significant association (aOR 1.07; 95% CI, 1.01–1.12; nominal p = 0.014, not adjusted for multiplicity).
