With regard to other patient-reported outcomes, nominally significant differences favouring baricitinib 4 mg over placebo at week 16 in BREEZE-AD1 and BREEZE-AD2 were seen in the proportions of patients achieving clinically relevant (i.e. ≥ 4-point and ≥ 3.4-point improvement from baseline [ 23 ]) skin pain and Patient-Oriented Eczema Measure (POEM) responses and improvements in itch (as assessed by the Itch NRS) and the POEM total score (Table 2 ).
Clone D3 showed a nominally significant IC 50 increase that was 1.6‐fold higher than parental Dd2‐B2.
Consequently, regarding shooting performance, while descriptive patterns and post-hoc comparisons indicated within-group improvements and a nominally significant between-group difference at post-test, these findings lack robust statistical support from the overall interaction effect and must be interpreted with caution.
Additionally, we found anecdotal evidence for an interaction between age and group in choline concentration both in temporo-parietal and occipital cortex with dyslexic children compared to control children having lower choline concentration (nominally significant), whereas dyslexic adults having higher choline concentration than typically reading adults.
The exposures of Parkinson’s disease, neuroticism and migraine had a nominally significant effect on ICV in our MR analysis, but ADHD was not significant as an exposure for ICV ( P threshold < 0.05/29 = 1.7 × 10 −3 , β ADHD = 0.019, P ADHD =0.456; β Parkinson’s = 0.040, P Parkinson’s = 0.001; β neuroticism = 0.126, P neuroticism = 0.011; β migraine = −0.042, P migraine = 0.016; Supplementary Fig. 47 and Supplementary Table 8D ).
Among proteins with Bonferroni significant associations and more than one nominally significant SOMAmer, > 80% showed directionally consistent associations with the selected SOMAmer for all 37 exposures considered (eTable 11).
In conclusion, higher-exposure dupilumab was effective and tolerated in pediatric patients aged 1–11 years with EoE with prior STC use and in patients with prior IRIC to STCs, as demonstrated by nominally significant improvements in histologic and endoscopic outcomes, and numerically improved EoE symptomology in these subgroups.
Covariates showing nominally significant effects on an outcome were included in multiple regression models that also included genotype effects.
The results revealed no statistically significant differences in any examined brain regions, revealing at most non-significant tendencies for a male preponderance especially in the pontomedullary brainstem and the motor cortex in the region-wise analysis; however, a nominally significant though rather slight overall difference could be detected between the mean vacuolation scores of all analyzed brain regions in the pooled analysis, suggesting a minimal overall predominance in males (2.3 ± 0.1 vs. 2.1 ± 0.1, p = 0.036).
While several regions showed nominally significant associations with the presence of EDS (Table S8 ), no associations survived FDR correction.
More than half of these associations presented a nominally significant effect, and only 16 of them provided strong evidence in terms of sample size, statistical significance, consistency and lack of small-study effects.
Several metabolites that met stringent Bonferroni significance‐level criteria for their association with E/e’ ratio had nominally significant associations with other diastolic function phenotypes (Table 2 ).
GPR126 showed a nominally significant association by a gene-based study.
The distribution of parameter MLEs from nominally significant alignments were consistent with the elevation of both CpG transition and transversion substitutions.
P value <0.05 is nominally significant. 3.
A two-sided P value of <0.05 was considered nominally significant.
Our identified significant associations include 34 that were only nominally significant in previous studies and 33 never linked to T2D risk.
In the cerebellum, the corresponding increases were more modest, 1.2- to 1.3-fold, and nominally significant only for the cerebellar cortex of the females ( SI Appendix, Table S3 ).
For GSEA, pathways with FDR q-value < 0.25 were considered as showing nominally significant enrichment, consistent with the exploratory nature of the analysis and the recommended threshold for hypothesis-generating studies with limited sample size [ 19 ].
The trend was nominally significant at x = 6 and passed the correction for multiple testing at x = 2 and x = 10.
We observed nominally significant and modest correlations between food intake and several sleep traits and lifespan in both sexes [ 67 , 73 ]; resistance to oxidative stress induced by paraquat [ 74 ] and menadione sodium bisulfite (MSB) in females [ 75 ]; and several nutritional index values in males [ 76 ] ( S2 Table ).
What does this study add? This analysis shows that treatment with sarilumab with conventional synthetic disease-modifying anti-rheumatic drugs (csDMARDs) resulted in statistically or nominally significant improvements in PROs in patients with an inadequate response or intolerance to tumour necrosis factor-α inhibitors (TNF-IR) in moderate-to-severely active RA.
Results demonstrated here are similar to those previously seen with the notable addition that the p‐tau217/Aβ42 ratio; the linear combination of p‐tau217, Aβ42/40 along with age, sex, and APOE ε4; and the composite score all perform significantly better than p‐tau217 alone to predict Aβ PET status (albeit at a nominally significant, uncorrected level) and provide higher accuracies at a range of different sensitivity/specificity cut‐offs.
Appendix Figs 3 and 4 examine mean FGRSs for our three FSD by county of residence and year of birth with only rare results that were nominally significant.
