In the literature

There was a nominally significant association between CD28 expression on CD4+ T cells and response (CR or PR) at day 180 after CAR-T cell infusion (91.3% CD28+, range 56.9–99.9% for responders versus 79.4%, range 44.6–99.9% for non-responders, p=0.048, t-test), but no other statistically significant associations between clinical outcomes and the frequencies of immune cell subsets in PBMC samples or the infusion products.
However, we do find a nominally significant association of higher brain stem volume and amygdala volume with age, which may reflect resilience for maintaining a normal level of cognitive functioning at higher age and potentially interacts with other neuronal factors of cognitive reserve (Stern, 2009 ; Steffener and Stern, 2012 ).
We identified a nominally significant interaction between total zinc intake and the SLC30A8 rs11558471 variant on fasting glucose levels (β-coefficient ± SE per A allele for 1 mg/day of greater total zinc intake: −0.0017 ± 0.0006 mmol/L, summary interaction P value = 0.005); this result suggests a stronger inverse association between total zinc intake and fasting glucose in individuals carrying the glucose-raising A allele compared with individuals who do not carry it.
Markers associated with phenotype traits either at ‘close to genome-wide significant’ p-values or at ‘nominally significant’ p-values Results from tests of association pointed to only one risk variant (namely Chr15:40531386-rs12440118 from ZNF106 ) associated with HbA1c emerging at ‘close to genome-wide significant’ p-value of 3.41E-08 (with Benjamini–Hochberg FDR p-value of 0.0032) ( Table 2 ).
In that study, OCA2, KITLG, SLC24A4, and TPCN2, which are all associated with blond hair or blue eyes, did not show a nominally significant association with the risk of CM or BCC.
