The analysis on OTU basis revealed only nominally significant values in bacterial abundance, however reflecting the findings on genus and family level ( Table 2 , Figure 3 ).

Other clocks, such as Horvath’s and Hannum clocks and DNAmPhenoAge, showed nominally significant associations that did not survive Bonferroni correction, despite only for the latter these were significant across all models tested (Table 1 ).
Yellow box = nominally significant difference in leaf molybdenum concentration, deep blue box = no significant difference, light blue = no T-DNA insertion line tested.
Specifically, when compared to the base references, 7 nominally significant results were revealed to be not significant at α = 0.05, and 18 nominally not significant results were revealed to be significant (Supplementary Data Table S7b , S7c ).
On the other hand, on chromosome 15 a total number of 39 SNPs were found to be nominally significant and only one (rs3784481 at 99749 kb) was significant after Bonferroni correction ( P value = 0.0025).
Twelve of the 15 intervals contained nominally significant QTL, nine at a Bonferroni‐adjusted P ‐value threshold of 0.003 (Fig. 4 A; Table S1 ).
Moreover, this SNP was nominally significant in both the Sleep Center and DSPS-case-control samples, and RORC was significant in the Sleep-Center genewise -set test (p=0.0008)( Supplement 1 ), but strong linkage disequilibrium extends beyond RORC ( Figure 7 ).
There were nominally significant interactions in (mostly) frontal cortical regions with the maternal but not the fetal PGS, especially in males, demonstrating that relative to the 1943–1948 birth period, the cohort of individuals born 1955–1960 had weaker associations between the maternal PGS and SA (Fig.
A highly suggestive association was supported by a p < 10 −6 , > 1000 cases, and the largest study in the meta-analysis presenting a nominally significant effect.
Whether anti-PD-1 or anti-PD-L1 antibodies has less adverse events remains controversial and studies showed contradictory outcomes ( 17 , 162 – 164 ) A study showed that HLADRB1*11:01 and pruritus as well as a nominally significant additive association between HLA-DQB1*03:01 and colitis, indicating the role of genetic diversity in adverse events of immune checkpoint inhibitors ( 165 ).
Other Clinical Efficacy Results The IKDC subjective score and the EQ-5D-5L (index value and VAS) showed highly consistent outcomes in line with the KOOS outcomes, i.e., early, increasing, and nominally significant improvements from (including) Month 3 onwards until Year 1 and sustained or even further slightly increasing improvements through Year 5 ( Table 3 ).
We looked for their association in our GSD GWAS discovery population and found that none of the 3 reported SNPs showed at least nominally significant P values (Supplementary Table 4 ).
Pearson testing revealed nominally significant correlations between Aβ concentration and the two spatial navigation tasks (MWM and RAWM) but found no significant relationship between Aβ and FC for either peptide in any extract (Table S1).
However, several nominally significant associations were found (Supplementary Table 7 ) between higher minor allele dosage and higher age at menopause, especially in long-lived women.
The rs11554674 was also identified to be nominally significant in a GWAS on pulse wave velocity, supporting the involvement of this SNP in arterial stiffness traits [ 62 ].
Two nominally significant associations (P unadjusted < 0.05) were observed in the CCRLP age-stratified analysis for patients ≥ 12 years old at diagnosis at rs10936599 in TERC (OR = 1.98; 95% CI = 1.06, 4.06; P = 0.043) and at rs7675998 in NAF1 (OR = 2.15; 95% CI = 1.09, 4.74; P = 0.039), but no associations were observed for CCRLP patients < 12 (Additional file 1 : Table S2).
For pyrosequencing analysis, our strategy was to select 3 loci that showed nominally significant differences between ME/CFS GC-Hypersensitive and ME/CFS GC-Typical: 2 loci in JRK and 1 locus in SLC6A4.
Thus, p-values < 0.05 were considered nominally significant, and findings should be interpreted as hypothesis-generating.
When comparing the depression symptom scores of the sexual minority groups separately to the rates of heterosexual individuals, the differences between heterosexual participants and the different sexual minority subgroups were nominally significant for all groups, indicating that all sexual minority groups reported higher depression symptom scores than heterosexual participants.
Although several nominally significant associations were identified, none remained statistically significant after Benjamini–Hochberg false discovery rate correction. 2.6.
The effect of dapagliflozin was also consistent, regardless of PAD history, for all the other clinical outcomes examined, except for worsening HF and HF hospitalization; dapagliflozin significantly reduced the risk of these outcomes in both patients with and without PAD, but the reduction appeared to be larger in those with PAD, with nominally significant interactions between PAD status and the effect of dapagliflozin on these outcomes ( Table 3 , Figure 2 ).
Beta estimates for nominally significant models with a binary exposure were converted to the liability scale assuming a population prevalence of 0.7% and 0.9% for SZ and AN, respectively [ 53 ].
For lower-powered GWAS data, the p -value expansion enables the analysis of nominally significant signals near genome-wide significant signals by taking the full GWAS summary statistics as well as LD structure into account, potentially capturing causal variants underlying association signals.
We also considered results with p-values of 1.285 × 10-4 to 0.05 nominally significant.
Finally, genes associated with ATP binding and motor activity, such as MYH9 (myosin, heavy chain 9) and MYO18AB were also identified amongst the nominally significant markers.
