This step reduced the number of nominally significant trans -eQTL loci to 247 ( Figure 1F ; Supplementary files 1 – 2 ).

Similar results were observed when using the 1‐sample approach (Figure S17 ) or when using nominally significant SNPs only (Figure S18 ).
Discussion In this comprehensive assessment of endometriosis lesion characteristics in relation to circulating inflammatory biomarkers among 566 participants with surgically visualized endometriosis from three studies, we observed nominally significant variation in circulating inflammatory markers by lesion color, vascularity, and location but not significant after accounting for multiple testing and no significant associations between circulating inflammatory markers and rASRM stage or macrophenotype (superficial, endometrioma, deep), which could be due to small sample sizes for non-superficial peritoneal lesions.
Nevertheless, it reached nominally significant results.
For six traits (IGF1 level, triglyceride level, eosinophil count, lymphocyte count, birth weight and basophil count), we observed nominally significant enrichment of h 2 POE within imprinted regions compared with the rest of the genome.
Of the 54 remaining genes, 16 were statistically differentially expressed between the selection lines at nominally significant P values that did not meet our conservative false discovery rate criterion, and 13 genes ( cacophony , Drop , homer , Shaker , TBP-related factor , turtle , Casein kinase IIα , Clock , cycle , discs overgrown , cAMP-dependent protein kinase1 , shaggy and timeless ) were differentially expressed at Q < 0.001 (Additional data file 8).
We also found a nominally significant HLP-HLN difference that did not survive correction for multiple comparisons.
Table 4 displays the ENPP1 SNPs for which we detected nominally significant associations with any of the glycemic traits under study.
Testing for enrichment of nominally significant genes in GWAS, CD4 + T cell gene expression and CD8 + T cell protein expression studies From the annotation provided for the 200 non-HLA genetic variants associated to MS, 1 272 gene IDs were extracted.
Averaged over Days 4 to 7, both etoricoxib dose groups (120 mg, 90 mg) showed nominally significant greater reduction from baseline as compared with placebo on Pain Intensity with Knee Flexion.
The nominally significant maxillary molar and mandibular molar did not survive multiplicity correction and are therefore interpreted cautiously.
Additionally, individuals with greater SCZ-FH had higher PQB distress scores in the cross-ancestry ( b = 0.43, p < 0.001, FDR p < 0.001) and EUR-only analyses ( b = 0.46, p = 0.003, FDR p = 0.006); this association was only nominally significant in the AMR-only analysis and null in the AFR-only analysis.
For lipid species showing nominally significant associations with PVT, lead SNPs were mapped to candidate genes to explore potential biological mechanisms.
Finally, when the IVW-derived p -value <0.05 and the estimates of all methods were in the same direction, we considered the results of MR analysis to be nominally significant.
The polymorphisms at only two positions, 8701 and 10398, showed nominally significant differences of basal mtRP fluorescence ratios.
Additionally, a few haplotypes, including a 19 kb genomic region that formed a linkage disequilibrium (LD) block in our sample and contained several nominally significant SNPs, were found to be significantly associated with AS.
However, the causation should be interpreted with caution since the association was nominally significant.
Their interaction was also nominally significant with an antemortem diagnosis of clinical AD ( Table 1 ).
9 (and Supplementary Data 36 ), genetic correlations with cerebellar morphological features were predominantly negative across diagnoses, indicating that genetic variants associated with a clinical diagnosis tended to also be associated with reduced cerebellar volumes (with 42 out of 115 tested associations showing nominally significant negative correlations; Fig. 9 , second row).
Analysis of shared BD-SCZ SNPs The risk alleles for all nominally significant SNPs in our BD GWAS [ 12 ] were compared to those reported in the PGC SCZ GWAS.
Additionally, when later-stage (5 and 6 dpf) larvae were compared, no measurements met the Bonferroni-corrected P -value cutoff (six were nominally significant), suggesting that facial morphology was very similar between these two time points ( Table 1 , Fig. 3 B).
SNPs with a Bonferroni‐adjusted p value ≤0.05 and >0.007 were considered to be nominally significant.
A p-value below 0.05 was considered nominally significant.
Furthermore, M29 exhibited overrepresentation of genetic risk with 30 candidate risk‐associated gene products, like B3GAT2, ARID4B, SDC4, and COL15A1, and finally M47 harbored 37 nominally significant PSP risk genes, including PF4, FBXW7, SERAINEF2 , and A2M .
Briefly, the associations that presented nominally significant random-effect summary estimates were considered as “convincing” (Class I), “highly suggestive” (Class II), “suggestive” (Class III), “weak evidence” (Class IV), or “non-significant” (NS).
