When aggregating DNAm sites into an MPS-BW, a one SD higher PGS child was associated with 0.08SD (95% CI[0.04, 0.11], p < .001) higher MPS-BW ( Figure 3 ). Maternal PGS showed nominally significant associations with 80 probes, which did not pass correction for multiple testing (Table S3, S3a, S3b).
No such association was seen for LTOWB treatment ( Figure 4 D) except for a nominally significant LTOWB association in patients who had not received plasma in addition to LTOWB by 24 h ( Figure S18 F).
Within the discovery cohort, we found evidence that the epigenetic pathophysiology differentiating BD/SA from BD/non-SA does not also differentiate BD/non-SA from CON, as supported by the strong negative correlation of log2 fold changes and minimal percentage agreement in fold change direction at the nominally significant DMPs.
Analysis of the 159 anthropometric, lifestyle and clinical covariates showed that 421 proteins had at least one nominally significant association with at least one covariate, and 303 proteins (71.3%) after correction for multiple hypothesis testing (p < 0.05/159/425 = 7.4 × 10 −7 , Table S2 ).
Many other variables had nominally significant differences between the accessible and inaccessible groups.
Despite not meeting secondary endpoints (risk of acute exacerbation, hospitalization for respiratory cause, or death), a pooled analysis of the FIBRONEER trials showed that Nerandomilast 18 mg was associated with a nominally significant reduction in the risk of death by 43% overall, by 59% in patients without background therapy, and by 41% in patients with background Nintedanib [ 41 ].
In addition, to the extent that we can rely on ICEA results that were nominally significant, although not at standard levels after false discovery rate adjustment, to indicate possible interesting signals to investigate in future work, the standard subsequent memory effect was not particularly correlated with ICEA results.
At the genus level, DM samples demonstrated a nominally significant expansion of Streptococcus , Lachnoclostridium , and Tyzzerella 3 and 4 and a reduction of Bifidobacterium , Christensenellaceae R‐7 group, and Anaerostipes compared with HCs.
Interestingly, there was a slight but nominally significant increase in the N‐terminal domain and PRD in African Americans compared to Whites, observed in either AD cases or both control and AD cases.
Finally, to this reduced model, they separately added a household variance component for siblings representing “early life shared environment” and one for parents representing “later life shared environment,” and then screened for nominally significant cis -acting and trans -acting single-nucleotide polymorphisms (SNPs).
This means that we selected all 203 nominally significant miRNAs from the first study performed in the US, all 146 nominally significant miRNAs from the validation study in Germany and computed 68 overlapping miRNAs that have been shown as a Venn diagram.
There was a nominally significant difference in the change in LV end‐diastolic diameter between the vitamin D and placebo groups.
Two-sided p < 0.05 was considered nominally significant. 3.
Four nominally significant trans-eQTLs were predicted to regulate three candidate genes ( SELL , MTF2 , and GAL ), the expression of which was significantly reduced in LCLs following zileuton treatment.
A nominally significant interaction of p‐tau217 levels and CEE/MPA versus placebo was observed, although dementia HRs for p‐tau217 in both the CEE/MPA and placebo groups were elevated. 25 The different BBMs associated with risk of MCI/probable dementia for CEE versus CEE/MPA suggest that there are different pathways and mechanisms that lead to dementia and dementia type for women who use estrogen alone versus estrogen plus progestin.
Intriguingly, module M12 did not show even nominally significant overlap with ASD modules from Parikshak et al ., suggesting a novel role for striatum in the neuropathology of ASD.
Per-drug files contained the final normalized model score, base score, maximum absolute TWAS z-score, number of nominally significant metabolic receptor rows, and risk rank.
Childhood BMI demonstrated significant or nominally significant associations with all measures of EAA.
We considered suggestive variants if they had a meta-analysis p-value lower than the genome-wide significance threshold of 5x10 -8 , a nominally significant p-value in both release datasets, and a concordant direction of effect between both datasets.
performed a case-control study in a group of 121 American case families (mother, father, and proband with DS and AVSD) and 122 American control families (mother, father, and proband with DS and no CHD), all genotyped for 45 polymorphisms in MTHFR, MTR, MTRR, RFC1 , and CBS genes, observing that several RFC1 polymorphisms, all in strong linkage with the RFC1 80G>A one, showed nominally significant associations with AVSD, with ORs of between 1.34 and 3.78.
Associations that remained significant after adjustment were considered more robust, whereas nominally significant unadjusted associations were interpreted as exploratory.
2 , and markers nominally significant in either NPL-all or NPL-pair are shown in Supplementary Table 1.
These associations were nominally significant but became nonsignificant after Bonferroni adjustment for multiple testing.
In exploratory subgroup analyses, nominally significant associations were observed in several clinical subgroups; however, after correction for multiple comparisons, only participants without dyslipidemia retained statistical significance.
