In the Boxers we do, despite the small sample size (n = 15), observe a nominally significant (p = 0.0019) association to fructosamine levels at the CFA3 locus which agrees with the epistatic pattern we observe between these two loci.

In particular, Pcg was significantly elevated in patients with early-stage PD ( p < 0.0001, p adj = 0.0002) and remained nominally significant in drug-naïve patients ( p = 0.0019, p adj = 0.0550), while also showing a positive association with H–Y stage ( p = 0.0128, p adj = 0.0383).
The correlation between a gene’s average phyloP score (from the 46-way primate comparison) and the average MAF of all SNPs tested in association with that gene is nominally significant (p = 0.002) but explains a very small fraction of the variance (r = -0.037).

>12 weeks) revealed that ≤ 12 weeks subgroup [ 29 , 30 , 33 ] showed a nominally significant P-value ( P = 0.002), but the 95% CI spanning zero (MD = 0.64 kg, 95% CI: -0.03 to 1.31; Fig. 4 ) indicates statistical nonsignificance.
Although only nominally significant, as endpoints were exploratory, fewer patients experienced an eGFR decline of 30% (HR 0.68; 95% CI 0.58–0.79, P < 0.002), 40% (HR 0.54; 95% CI 0.43–0.67, P < 0.002) or 50% (HR 0.57; 95% CI 0.40–0.81, P < 0.002) to an eGFR < 60 mL/min/1.73 m 2 with dapagliflozin compared with placebo.
Nominally significant interactions between LR and HR groups were observed for correlations between YMRS total scores and left superior frontal surface area ( p = 0.002, uncorrected) (Fig. 4A ), CBCL total score and right lateral orbitofrontal surface area ( p = 0.005, uncorrected) (Fig. 4B ), and CBCL dysregulation subscale scores and right lateral orbitofrontal surface area (p = 0.008, uncorrected) (Fig. 4C ).
Hospitalization The cumulative hospitalization rates were 40.3 per 100 patient-years in the HD group and 33.5 per 100 patient-years in the matched PD group, and this was a nominally significant result (P = 0.002) (Table 3 ).
The association remained nominally significant in both Europeans (β=0.271; p=0.002) and African Americans (β=0.579; p=5.73 × 10–5) for the same risk allele.
In the 5-week samples, the decrease of Mecp2 mRNA was nominally significant ( p = 0.002), with the adjusted p value falling just short of significance (0.058) (Additional file 3 : Table S2).
Association with low concentration of s-HDL particles was nominally significant ( P = 0.002).
Moreover, we detected a nominally significant enrichment of NDD genes in upregulated genes ( p = 0.002, FDR = 0.25, GSEA, Fig. 3c , Supplementary Table 5 ).
Amongst these, ten corresponded to HERVs, of which nine were Bonferroni significant features in the analysis comprising the full cohort (Bonferroni P < 0.05), whereas the tenth feature was only nominally significant (HERVL18_6p22.1c, TWAS P = 0.002).

This was nominally significant (p = 0.002), and after correction for 4 pro-inflammatory genotypes and the 4 measures investigated this finding remains of borderline significance (16 tests, corrected p = 0.03).
While 9 missense variants initially showed nominally significant associations in the discovery phase ( p < 0.002), none were replicated in the validation set ( p > 0.05).
Only one variant (rs999741 in the HTR4 region, MAF 26%) had a nominally significant P-value (P = 2x10 -3 ) and had consistent direction of effect in stage 1 and stage 2 ( S4 Table ).
A similar pattern was observed for progesterone receptor (PR) expression, with the exception that SNP rs676256 also showed a nominally significant association with PR-negative tumours (OR = 0.95 [0.91–0.98], P = 0.002; Table 2 ).
The association at rs6436688 remained nominally significant after conditional analysis for rs55703767 ( p =0.002).
One additional SNP (rs2131925) showed nominally significant evidence of association with ΔTC (β = 0.07 mmol/l per allele per decade follow-up, 95% CI: 0.03, 0.11, SE = 0.02, P = 0.002, P FDR = 0.083).
