“near-significant”

Ethical–legal perceptions tightened with seniority: concern about liability for AI-related errors rose slightly yet reached significance across year groups ( p = 0.047), while concern for patient confidentiality showed a near-significant upward drift ( p = 0.062), as presented in Table 1 .

No significant differences were found between dropouts and participants on any baseline variables ( p > 0.302), except a near-significant difference in time since whiplash (dropouts: 14.5 months, SD 3.1; participants: 26.8 months, SD 14.5; p = 0.062).

The only near-significant interaction was found between gender and BP and this was at the 6% level ( F (1,694) = 3.493, p = 0.062), so we did not include any interaction terms in the final regression model.

ALT increased over time and was consistently higher in the delayed group, contributing to a near-significant interaction ( p = 0.062) and a group effect trending toward significance ( p = 0.085), while AST followed a similar pattern without significance.

There were near-significant interactions between BPM and movement condition, F (2, 38) = 2.993, p = .062, and movement condition and tapping mode, F (4, 76) = 3.328, p = .084.

This discrepancy is clear from significant interactions in the effects of acclimation temperature and water content on ion content ( P <0.006) in all cases except for Na in males where it was near-significant ( P =0.062) and following the same trend.

Notably, near-significant negative correlations were observed between serum αAAV9 Abs and NAGLU activity in the intestine (p = 0.062) and muscle (p = 0.079; Figure 5 ).

Considering differences in weight between WT and muscular Mstn Ln/Ln mice, the difference in edema increase between both groups is near-significant (p = 0.0624).

Relative to TNK-tPA, a near-significant reduction of hemoglobin was observed ( P = .0624).

WOB measurements (Joules/min and Joules/L) were possible in 5 patients, indicating near-significant higher values when stopping the sweep gas flow for a 1 h. period- 11.7[7.5 ± 15.0] versus 22.6[13.9 ± 34.7] J/min, p = 0.0625 and 1.1[0.8 ± 1.4] versus 1.5[0.9 ± 2.8] J/L, p = 0.0625.

WOB measurements were possible in 5 patients, indicating near-significant higher values after stopping ECCO 2 R: 11.7 (7.5; 15.0) versus 22.6 (13.9; 34.7) Joules/min., p = 0.0625 and 1.1 (0.8; 1.4) versus 1.5 (0.9; 2.8) Joules/L, p = 0.0625.

Statistically significant interactions existed between COPD/asthma, female sex, ET phenotype, JAK2 positive status, hydroxyurea use, and the presence of additional cardiovascular risk factors with thrombotic risk (interaction p < 0.050 for all analyses), with a near-significant p value for high-risk disease (interaction p = 0.063).

Regarding activity across the broader autobiographical memory regions, patient 1 showed a near-significant deactivation across the entire meta-analytic autobiographical memory network in the colleague relative to the high school condition ( t = 1.53, p = 0.063), whereas no significant difference was observed in patient 2 ( t = −0.43, p = 0.665; Fig. 1e ).

There was a near-significant worsening of DMFS with the use of adjuvant systemic therapy (HR 1.64; 95% CI 0.97–2.77; p = 0.063).

FOXO1-negative tumours had a better 5-year relapse-free survival (58.92% versus 44.63%; p = 0.296) with a near-significant correlation in favourable-site tumours (75.10% versus 45.83%; p = 0.063).

We found that variable G4 regions were enriched at strong enhancers as compared to stable G4 regions ( p = 0.011, Fig 5D ), and we also found a near-significant enrichment at insulator regions ( p = 0.063, Fig 5D ) in agreement with previous studies showing enrichment near CTCF at 3D domain (topologically associating domain, TAD) borders [ 37 ].

DeKay and colleagues [ 20 ] identified a near-significant ( p = 0.063) decrease in distortion when they altered the wording of their separate response scales: distortion (averaged across proleader and antitrailer) was lower when the separate scales encouraged absolute evaluation of an option (“very unappealing” to “very appealing” for option A [B]) rather than relative evaluation of an option (“strongly disfavors” to “strongly favors” for option A [B]).

We also observed a near-significant effect of the type of virus on unsupported rearing behaviors (F 1,27 = 3.75; p = 0.063), mostly explained by a decreased number in females exposed to chronic activation of their PV + cells (p = 0.057).

With respect to quality of life, at 3 months PedsQL scores were higher in responders with a near-significant difference [94.57 (90.22–96.74) vs. 90.22 (84.24–95.65); P = 0.063], and by 6 months the difference reached statistical significance [95.65 (92.39–98.91) vs. 91.30 (85.87–97.28); P = 0.023].

Fibrosis scores, however, showed a significant reduction at day 30 in the ibuprofen group (1.75 vs 2.75, P = .024) ( Figure 4 ), and a near-significant reduction at day 15 (1.37 vs 2.37, P = .063).

Moreover, when selectively analyzing the expression levels of 16 thyroid function and metabolism genes associated with thyroid cell differentiation – the so-called 'thyroid differentiation score' ( Cancer Genome Atlas Research Network 2014 ) – a near-significant ( P = 0.063) difference was found between clusters F and M, with a trend toward higher differentiation in cluster M (Supplementary Fig. 8).
