There were modestly significant positive correlations between the predicted principal strains and the experimentally measured principal strains.
Consistent with this, uninoculated and aged PINK1 KO and Parkin KO also trended towards higher OCRs for State 3 when compared to uninoculated and aged wild-type mice ( S3 Fig ), although only the State 3 OCR for the aged Parkin KO mice was modestly significant.
The modestly significant correlation between hormone amount and binding affinity makes sense and might have been anticipated, but I am not aware of clear evidence-based demonstration of this relationship, especially not across as many hormones as is demonstrated in this manuscript.
[ 100 ] reported that intrinsic motivation correlates with persistence, willingness to sacrifice, and readiness to start in medical students; introjected regulation has only modestly significant correlations with willingness to sacrifice and readiness to start, whereas external regulation negatively correlates with persistence and has no significant links with willingness to sacrifice and readiness to start [ 100 ].
There was a modestly significant interaction between the dominant SV transcript and the effect of WT- IRF8 on RFS, with the impact of WT- IRF8 expression on RFS being greater for SV1 compared to SV2 (P = 0.043 for continuous expression and P = 0.036 for >2–fold expression; Fig 6 ).
However, the CpG-to-mRNA correlation between them was relatively modest, and although CREBBP formed the central node in the PPI network, the expression of Crebbp was uncorrelated with its cognate CpG, and instead, the Crebbp transcript had a modestly significant inverse correlation with the Hnf1a CpG ( Figure 5f ).
A meta-analysis of six studies has demonstrated that the COMT rs4680 polymorphism has a modestly significant association with suicidal behavior [ 21 ].
However, the regression equation controlling for other variables led to a modestly significant positive link between the T x C interaction and facial attractiveness.
In contrast, there was no or only modestly significant association when TADs in peripheral tissues were used, with a statistically significant difference in ORs between brain and stem cells and peripheral tissues ( Figure 1 E, p = 2.72 × 10 −5 , two-tailed Wilcoxon rank-sum test).
We also found modestly significant high-frequency-biases in the inputs from L3 and L5, but not L2 and L4 (See Supplementary Fig. 2 ).
We find that entering a new marriage is modestly significant for men, and associated with 0.23 SDs greater depressive symptoms than remaining married between waves. 2 Remaining separated or divorced between waves was associated with 0.31 SDs greater depressive symptoms, and remaining widowed was associated with 0.20 SDs greater depressive symptoms than remaining married among men.
In the prediabetes and T2DM population, FINS showed a more significant reduction (WMD: − 1.75 μU/ml; 95% CI − 2.87, − 0.63 μU/ml; P = 0.002) (low rate), and the reduction was not significant or was modestly significant in the other populations.
The full JIS definition was significantly related to PAD and CVD but this was modestly significant with CHD or stroke.
Correlations of the change in body weight during GLP-1RA treatment We found a modestly significant correlation of weight loss (percentage) of pre-MBS weight to post-MBS nadir weight and weight loss (percentage) after 12 months of GLP-1RA treatment with semaglutide and liraglutide ( r = 0.206, p = 0.035; Figure 4A ).
Differences between Delta cohorts and comparators in length of stay overall were modestly significant; as such, studies suggest some reproducible perioperative benefit.
Although the association is modestly significant, the direction and magnitude are consistent with studies from other LMICs where expanded immunization programs have contributed to reduced mortality [ 30 , 31 ].
Moreover, modestly significant gene categories were largely comprised of metabolic and general signaling pathways (e.g. regulation of transcription, regulation of RNA-metabolism, regulation of biosynethic process, G-protein signaling, cytoskeleton etc.).
Interactions between temperature and molar ratio alcohol/palm stearin ( p -value = 0.0294) on one hand and substrate concentration and temperature on the other hand ( p -value = 0.1215) were found to be modestly significant.
Nevertheless, for genes controlled in trans by HS6 (chromosome 2, 11.4–11.6 Mb, 172 genes) and HS7 (chromosome 2, 21.4–21.6 Mb, 183 genes), one or more GO terms associated with CYPs, cysteine proteases or DOGs were enriched, albeit with modestly significant p -values as compared to those for HS1.
A large meta-analysis comprising 10,158 CAD patients from 262,525 individuals in 29 prospective studies suggested a modestly significant correlation between triglyceride levels and CAD risk ( 28 ).
In this forest plot, the random pooled effect was modestly significant (SMD = 0.74, P a = 0.03) and highly heterogeneous (P b < 10 −5 , I 2 = 97%).
The Tma proteins appear to make no contribution to recycling and REI at native uORF3, as the uORF3-only reporter expression is unaffected by the tma20 ∆ tma64 ∆ mutations; whereas its conversion to uSt-st3 confers a modestly significant Tma-dependence for recycling and suppression of REI (Fig. 7B , cols. 5–8).
A pairwise T-test comparing simulations with observations for all data, excluding those used for model calibration, showed modestly significant differences in some instances, but the differences are less than the experimental standard errors (Detailed analyses are given in Tables S2 and S3 ).
