Observers’ trait anxiety showed marginally significant positive correlation with the activity in the left amygdala to direct-gaze fear faces (ambiguous threat) in P-biased stimuli (Fig. 4A ; r = 0.196, FDR adjusted p = 0.060), but not to averted-gaze fear faces (clear threat) in M-biased stimuli ( r = −0.174, FDR adjusted p = 0.085).
Second, significant or marginally significant survival differences in the same age categories are still observed once the data set is separated by sex (Females: Table S3i ; Males: Table S3j ) and offspring cohort ( Table S3l ) and in those diagnosed 65 to 79 in the original cohort ( Table S3k ), or if an equal number of individuals (AESC: N =176; AESSC: N =119) are randomly selected from each age category and the analysis is repeated ( Table S8a ).
We did not detect a strong correlation in the pattern of ORF point mutations between clades EUA and NA in tip genetic variation (Spearman's rho = .205, p ‐value = .069, Figure 4 b), but a marginally significant correlation was detected in mutational changes that evolved between the root and the ancestral sequences of clades EUA and NA, respectively (Spearman's rho = .228, p ‐value = .043, Figure 4 c).
Based on GRADE, a strong recommendation is worded as “we recommend,” whereas a weak recommendation is presented as “we suggest.” Results: Conclusions from the systematic review included (1) isolated studies reported statistically significant and clinically important improvements following early decompression at 6 months and following discharge from inpatient rehabilitation; (2) in one study on acute central cord syndrome without instability, a marginally significant improvement in total motor scores was reported at 6 and 12 months in patients managed with early versus late surgery; and (3) there were no significant differences in length of acute care/rehabilitation stay or in rates of complications between treatment groups.
