Therefore, infection prevalence adjusted for age, gender and ethnic group and clustered by household was two-fold higher among residents of infested houses as determined in the 2008 (baseline) vector survey (POR = 2.3, CI 95 = 1.4–3.9, p < 0.001), but the effect of infestation on infection prevalence was marginally significant when the self-reported past exposure was considered instead (POR = 1.5, CI 95 = 1–1.2, p = 0.6) ( S2 Table ).

Nevertheless, we found a marginally significant difference between high- and low-reward trials during phase II [ t (29) = 2.36, P = 0.67], consistent with the notion that stimuli associated with high reward are, indeed, more likely to attract and capture attention, leading to incorrect eye movements.
The same paired before-after comparisons for the 0.1% UC781 formulation demonstrate a trend toward suppression but with marginally significant or non-significant differences (10 2 virus: p = 0.69 at 10 cm, p = 0.038 at 30 cm; for 10 4 virus: p = 0.051 at 10 cm, p = 0.035 at 30 cm).
The interaction Group × Probe was marginally significant for set size 25 only ( F (1,11) = 4.0, p = 0.72), indicating that at this set size, the Groups difference was largest if the target was absent (See Fig. 1 ).
The interaction with age was marginally significant (F(1,19) = 3.700, p = 0.72); the interaction between the levels (F(1,19) = 2.070, p = 0.169) and the platelet count (F(1,19)= 0.64, p = 0.804) was not significant, which suggests no effects of these variables on results.
At discharge, those who subsequently died had a mean of 0.77 (SD = 0.47, median = 0.80), and the mean of those who survived was 0.78 (SD = 0.53, median = 0.66), with at most marginally significant differences between the two means (W = 6581.5, p = 0.75, es = 0.02).
Treatment ( F 1,66 = 9.751, P = 0.003) and treatment × quality ( F 1,66 = 3.273, P = 0.074) had significant and marginally significant impacts, respectively, on species diversity (inverse Simpson’s) across the season, but quality alone had no effects ( F 1,66 = 0.072, P = 0.789).
