Despite the limitations, three QTLs displayed significant (linear model, P <0.05, n =69) and two QTLs displayed marginally significant (linear model, P <0.10, n =69) correlations with the same traits found in the LAB QTL study ( Supplementary Table 7 ).

Results were considered significant with P ≤ 0.05 and were considered marginally significant with P ≤ 0.10.
Relationships between edaphic physicochemical parameters and total fungal richness, richness of dominant phyla and classes, of different growth forms and lifestyles, and their relative abundances were investigated through linear regression analyses (significant for p < 0.05; marginally significant for 0.05 < p < 0.1).
When we repeated the test only considering GC contents within 10 nucleotides of recombination break points (20-nt window in Table 4 ), the significant associations between break-point positions and lower GC content in Sarbecoviruses and Pedacoviruses were strengthened, and additionally, marginally significant associations with lower GC contents (0.05 < P < 0.1; permutation test) were detected in Merbecoviruses and Embecoviruses ( Fig. 3 , Supplementary Fig.
prerestoration, but in this case both SRP and TP were marginally significant ( p < 0.10).
Paint exposure was marginally significant in the univariate analysis (OR = 4.04; 95% CI = 0.90–18.87; p < 0.1).
Application of the shift statistics localized five sister groups with significant (uncorrected P < 0.05) and eight others with marginally significant (uncorrected P < 0.10) rate variation in at least one shift statistic (Table 4 ).
Gender was also a marginally significant moderator of social well-being ( β = −0.26, p < .10), but was not a moderator for the social connectedness ( β = −0.10, n.s.) or alexithymia associations ( β = −0.12, n.s.).
We also find some evidence that male teachers are more likely to interact with colleagues when experiencing heightened symptoms, although this association is marginally significant at p<0.1 level as shown in figure 4 .
For visual-orthographic deficits, the high-functioning dyslexics showed a marginally significant lower proportion compared to their typical-functioning dyslexics, z = −1.66, p = .10.
Owing the limited power of certain analyses, which are based on small sample sizes, we also report ‘marginally significant’ values (0.05< p <0.10) and interpret them to indicative inconclusive results (i.e., we can neither reject nor accept the null hypothesis).
However, comparisons of ΔAIC and R 2 indicated that the simpler MAM containing a linear size effect had substantially greater support than the MAM including a marginally significant non-linear response of basal area growth with tree size (DBH 2 : L = 2.71, P = 0.10; ΔAIC for the MAM with a non-linear size effect was only 0.7 points lower than for the model with a linear size effect; Table 2 ).
Also, employee voice had a marginally significant relationship with individual influence with low LMX and low centrality (promotive voice: b = 1.000, p < 0.10; prohibitive voice: b = 1.022, p < 0.10).
For all analyses, an alpha level of p < 0.05 was used as criterion for significance, but marginally significant findings (0.05 ≤ p < 0.10) regarding experimental manipulations are also reported and explored because of a priori predictions with these factors.
A marginally significant correlation was also found in the alignment of State #3 ( r (54) = 0.22, p = 0.10).
As hypothesised, there was a positive association with accessibility of the local area (p < .05) and a marginally significant association with the type of area the respondent lived in (p < .10): people living in London or another large city were more likely to report good outcomes and those in suburban areas were more likely to report the lower two levels.
This has a number of implications including risk of biased overestimation of explained variation (which we accounted for by reporting an adjusted R 2 value) and risk of overfitting of models (as a result of which we dropped several marginally significant (0.05<P<0.1) variables from final models, and our fitted model has at least 10 practices per variable which is adequate in view of simulation studies showing that a minimum of only two SPV may suffice in linear regression for adequate estimation of regression coefficients). 24 More problematically, there is relatively limited power for identifying practice characteristics significantly associated with trial participation, and for examining variation in intervention implementation and outcomes.
A multivariate analysis was conducted based on variables identified in univariate analysis; marginally significant variables ( P ≤.10) in univariate analysis and factors that may be associated with new HIV infections were included in a multivariate Cox proportional hazards regression model to identify factors associated with HIV incidence.
For children up to 10 years, IgG OD responses increased significantly (p<0.05) with age for spike, while IgA OD responses to spike and RBD presented a marginally significant (p<0.1) increase with age ( Fig 2F ).
After adjustment, drive-time effects attenuated substantially, with only the 21–30 min category remaining marginally significant (− 0.30 pp, p < 0.10), while the 31–45 min and > 45 min categories were no longer significant.
The difference between these responses was marginally significant ( P = 0.10).
