When the data were stratified by autoantibody positivity (RF, ACPA) ( online supplemental table S1–S2 ), high PM 10 exposure showed a numerical trend towards a positive association with RA-ILD mortality in the RF (+) (HR 1.54; 95% CI 0.98 to 2.42; p=0.060) and ACPA (+) (HR 1.58; 95% CI 0.99 to 2.51; p=0.054) groups; but with marginal significance.
marginal significancep = 0.061.2× alphagold
After including household exposures (Model 2, Table 7 ), older age (OR 8.2, 95% CI 1.62–41.4 for 8–11 year olds compared to 0–3 year olds) remained associated with increased odds, and households with soy bean crops (OR 0.035, 95% CI 0.0036–0.35) had substantially lower odds, but households with peanut crops had higher odds, though with marginal significance (p = 0.06).
marginal significancep = 0.061.2× alphagold
In the multivariable models shown in Table 2 significant relationships remained between self-reported racism and overall mental health (OR 2.67, 95% CI 1.25-5.70, p = 0.01) and between self-reported racism and general health (OR 2.17, 95% CI 1.03-4.57, p = 0.04) with the relationship between self-reported racism and depression reduced to marginal significance (OR 2.0; 95% CI 0.97-4.09, p = 0.06).

Using Image J software to analyze the fluorescence quantification of 4-HNE immunofluorescence staining, marginal significance was observed for the exercise main effect on the relative fluorescence intensity of 4-HNE [ F (1, 8) = 4.771, p = 0.060, η 2 = 0.374, Figure 5M ] and for the interaction effect on the area of 4-HNE positive staining [ F (1, 8) = 4.746, p = 0.061, η 2 = 0.372, Figure 5N ].
marginal significanceP = 0.061.2× alphagold
We found that the presence of Ssk-FB4s was always associated with stronger resistance against viral, bacterial and fungal infection in all datasets 71 – 73 : the comparison reaches marginal significance in one set with female flies subjected to bacterial infection ( P = 0.06, Supplementary Fig. 19 ), and significance in another two sets with flies subjected to fungal infection ( P = 0.002 and P = 0.02, respectively).
