Although there was no clear trend for homozygosity, heterozygous carriers displayed a significant trend toward cognitive impairment according to the MOCA ( p = 0.003 for proportions comparison between groups), but for proportions analyzed based on RBANS and Linear Regression analysis, it did not reach statistical significance ( p > 0.1) ( Table 1 and Figure 2 ).
In age-stratified analyses higher cheese intake was associated with lower cortical BMD at the radius and tibia in men and women over the age of 60 years [β (SE) per 1 serv/week: −7.40 (2.59), p = 0.01 and per 1 serv/week: per 1 serv/week: −7.82 (2.85), p = 0.01, respectively; Table S3 ), but these associations did not reach statistical significance ( p < 0.003).
In NC114-treated hearts, both genes were significantly downregulated at 1 week post-TAC, whereas at 4 weeks they exhibited downward trends that did not reach statistical significance (log2FC = –1.99 and –3.18; adj. p = 0.0039 and 0.0179 at 1 week; log2FC = –1.16 and –3.20; adj. p = 0.0722 and 0.0529 at 4 weeks; data from Supplementary Materials, RNAseq_NCVH_1wk.xlsx and RNAseq_NCVH_4wk.xlsx).
Additionally, although TAS levels appeared higher in the LPS+NEB group compared to the LPS group, this difference did not reach statistical significance. Moreover, TAS levels showed a significant increase in the NEB group compared to the LPS group ( p = 0.004).
Although partial IAB was also more common in COVID-19 patients, this finding did not reach statistical significance ( Figure 1 ). On univariate regression analysis, the presence of COVID-19 infection had a statistically significant association with any degree of IAB (p<0.004), whereas the p-value was >0.05 for all other associations with QTc, QTd and TPe.
There was increased incidence of hypometabolic pattern in patients with MOSF (51.7% versus 37.9%) or septic shock (57.1% versus 35.7%), which however did not reach statistical significance, and increased incidence of hypermetabolic pattern in patients with APEM (33% versus 16.4%, P < .004) or muscle stores depletion (66.7% versus 10%, P < .001).

Although the distribution of the predominant etiologies (AOM or PT) was uneven (Pearson’s chi-square P = 0.047), the differences of other socio-demographic or clinical characteristics between the study cohorts did not reach statistical significance, with the exception of the score of school absenteeism, which was higher in the auto-vaccines cohort (Mann–Whitney’s U test P = 0.004, Table 2 ).
In contrast to the myocardium, the number of TUNEL-apoptotic cells and caspase-3 protein expression in the lungs was markedly increased by CPB in both saline treated and ghrelin treated CPB rats compared to sham rats, but this did not reach statistical significance for caspase-3 protein (apoptotic cell number p = 0.004 and p = 0.016) (Figures 5D–F,I ).
