When haloperidol was administered following cumulative doses of LSD, we observed a trend towards a further increase in cell firing frequency of pyramidal IL-PFC neurons compared with LSD 160 μg/kg, which did not reach statistical significance ( F 2, 10 = 8.304, p = 0.0075, post-hoc test compared with LSD 160 μg/kg p = 0.0512; Figure 5(m) and ( n )).
Validity testing is limited to discriminant validity, where the CKTP has been shown to detect improved EF in task performance among older participants, but this did not reach statistical significance ( F [4, 45] = 3.83, p < 0.008).
Most participants agreed that it is: for example, 72% of participants agreed or strongly agreed with the statement, “Learning is due to modifications in the brain”; and 90% agreed or strongly agreed that, “There is a lasting change in the brain when someone learns a new skill.” Using the Bonferroni-adjusted alpha level of 0.006, we found that the correlation between TOI scores and responses to these questions did not reach statistical significance ( R 2 = 0.036, p = 0.008).
EMG parameters While differences in EMG peak and RMS activity between groups did not reach statistical significance, the rise time was significantly prolonged in the trigger point group ( p = 0.008), indicating longer muscle force developments.
Although the decline in total B cells (CD3 − CD19 + CD20 + ) and naïve B cells (CD3 − CD19 + CD20 + CD27 − CD38 lo ) did not reach statistical significance, mature/activated B cells (CD3 − CD19 + CD20 + CD27 + CD38 moderate ) declined significantly from 313 (267–392) cells/10 5 lymphocytes to 64 (28–166), P = 0.008, and memory B cells (CD3 − CD19 + CD20 + CD27 + CD38 − ) decreased from 608 (380–842) cells/10 5 lymphocytes to 101 (36–200), P = 0.004 (Figure 4 ).
Although from pharmacists who graduated from America and western Europe reported that they refer the patients to see a physician compared with 33.3% of them giving the antibiotic without prescription, this difference did not reach statistical significance ( P = 0.008) Table 1 .
In patients with poor glycemic control (aBG > 180 mg/dL), the mortality risk was higher than in those without diabetes but did not reach statistical significance after adjustment (unadjusted HR: 1.95 [1.19–3.20]; p = 0.008; adjusted HR: 1.58 [0.95–2.65]; p = 0.080).
Conversely, concentric hypertrophy showed a trend toward greater later mortality and eccentric hypertrophy showed a trend toward greater early and later mortality, but these associations did not reach statistical significance considering a Bonferroni‐corrected P value ( P =0.0083) (Table 4 ).
Again, this did not reach statistical significance after Bonferroni correction (set at p=0.0083).
A scatter chart plotting the preoperative NLR and TLS density revealed a marginal negative association; however, this association did not reach statistical significance (P=0.0084, R=-0.1864) ( Fig. 4 ).
Although a similar trend of elevated population of Ruminococcaceae in TWD-fed mice was also apparent, this response did not reach statistical significance until the terminal time point ( p = 0.0089).
Compared to men, women reported significantly higher levels of anxiety during the first lockdown ( p = 0.005); however, during the second lockdown, this sex difference did not reach statistical significance ( p = 0.009).
We also observed a similar trend for SLF I in the left hemisphere, but the effect did not reach statistical significance when multiple comparisons across tracts were taken into account (t 11 = 3.15, CI = 0.038–0.211, P = 0.009).
The NAA levels in the parietal lobe and cerebellum showed a trend for decreased measures in adults with ASD compared with those with TD ( P =0.01 in the parietal lobe and P =0.004 in the cerebellum), although these differences did not reach statistical significance after the Bonferroni correction was applied ( Table 2 ).
Cutaneous allodynia symptoms experienced during the attacks (assessed by ASC-12) improved after the third and sixth administration but did not reach statistical significance after correction for multiple comparison ( p = 0.01).
The prognosis of invasive IAPNs is still significantly better than that of conventional invasive carcinomas of the ampulla, although the difference in survival rate at 5 years did not reach statistical significance (3-year survival rate 69% vs 44%, P < 0.01 and 5-year survival rate 45% vs 28%, P = 0.06 for invasive IAPNs vs other invasive ampullary carcinomas, respectively)[ 1 ].
Other subgroups did not reach statistical significance under the corrected threshold of P < 0.01 ( Table 3 ).
Concerning the difference in immune cell infiltration between the infiltration zone and tumor core, we found a tendency towards higher absolute macrophage infiltration (CD68 + as well as CD163 + ) for the tumor core which did not reach statistical significance on a p < 0.01 level ( p = 0.017 for CD68 + and p = 0.012 for CD163 + , Fig. 2 B/C).
The association with ITH did not reach statistical significance, however we note that "low ITH, high wGII" tumours were linked to rapid progression in the larger cohort (p=0.01, Turajlic et al., 2018a ).
Nonetheless, the number of cohabitants did not reach statistical significance according to Pearson’s correlation coefficient, 0.044 for anxiety and 0.027 for depression ( p = 0.01 bilateral).
However, these differences in variability did not reach statistical significance, the only exception being the inter-observer variability of the systemic right ventricular stroke volume (12% with CMR vs. 32% with MDCT; p < 0.01, Figure 1 ).
Correlations with MMSE were negative but did not reach statistical significance (r = -0.22, p = 0.01).
A similar trend was observed for both GCA and GUDCA; however, such relationships did not reach statistical significance ( p < 0.01).
Although there was a trend toward decreased survival in the Sirt2 −/− ; p53 +/− mice under HFD, they seemed to be partially protected as the decrease in tumor incidence did not reach statistical significance ( Sirt2 −/− ; p53 +/− : HFD vs. ctrl survival p = 0.01 / tumor incidence p = 0.1).
Utility of enrolment biomarkers in predicting recurrent shock and respiratory distress At ICU admission with shock, patients with higher Syndecan-1 levels were more likely to develop recurrent shock (OR = 1.82, 95% CI 1.07–3.35, P = 0.038); however, after adjustment for multiple comparisons, the association did not reach statistical significance (at our predefined level of P < 0.01).
