Kaplan-Meier analysis of total mortality during one year was close to significance in favor of the combination (p=0.066).

There was no relation with premature pubarche ( R 2 0.021; p = 0.258) while that with precocious puberty was close to significance ( R 2 0.235; p = 0.066).

Comparing irradiated untreated rats with irradiated treated rats at 12 months shows, for the treated irradiated rats compared to the irradiated rats, a significant decrease in Grade 1 of 13.5% ( p value = 0.041), and an increase close to significance in Grades 2 and 3 is observed for the untreated rats (8%, p value = 0.067 and 7.5% p value = 0.082 respectively).

The expression levels of Syt13 were then assessed by qPCR and, in support of its putative role in determining neuronal vulnerability, we found that the FF MNs isolated from early-stage mutant mice displayed a strong, close to significance ( p -value = 0.0676) down-regulation of this transcript than WT animals (Supplementary Fig. 1B ).

Reductions in their third ventricular volume were close to significance ( p = .068).

Although baseline body weight was not significantly associated with MDR-TB treatment outcome in this study, it was close to significance (p=0.068).

Adding Nf‐H and Nf‐L protein concentrations above the median to the multivariate prognostic model showed that higher levels of these analytes had a mild but significant effect on survival only for Nf‐H (HR: 1.728, CI: 1.026–2.909, p = 0.040), while Nf‐L protein concentration effect was only close to significance (HR: 1.921, CI: 0.986–4.056, p = 0.068; Fig. 4E and F ).
