The results showed that the risk for mortality (HR) in Q2 was significantly lower compared with Q1 only among patients less than 65 years old (and approached significance among those with hypertension), in Q2 risk was significantly lower only among patients more than 65 years old, those with hypertension, and those without diabetes, but both men and women, with no sex difference, while the risk in Q4 significantly lower only among men, those with hypertension, and those without diabetes.
Vibriocidal titer has been considered as the surrogate marker of protection against cholera, and therefore, when considering only contacts with baseline vibriocidal values of 1:80 or lower, the presence of LPS IgG memory B cells was also significantly associated with a decreased risk of infection in contacts, and the risk reduction when OSP IgG memory B cells were present approached significance (OSP: risk ratio 0.62; 95% confidence interval [CI] 0.350 to 1.100; LPS: risk ratio 0.62; 95% confidence interval [CI] 0.384 to 0.987).
Among those with normal serum cortisol levels, Kaplan-Meier survival estimates showed that ABAT upregulation was favorable for survival ( z -score ≥ 0.5; median survival for patients with upregulated ABAT transcripts > 154 months, unaltered ABAT = 45 months; log-rank test; p = 3.0 × 10 −3 ), and approached significance even in patients with excess cortisol despite lower statistical power (data not shown).
We can speculate that students who are a bit more mature tend to be more confident ( Pearce, 2017 ) and use more efficient learning strategies ( Wilson-Wünsch et al., 2016 ) that may be particularly beneficial in the more practical courses among these modules (age approached significance in Wine & Spirits ).
This was qualified by a group x valence interaction ( F (2,66) = 8.80, p < .001, η p 2 = .21): vividness was higher for positive than negative scenarios in controls and non‐depressed ABI participants (both p s < .01, d = .58 and .61), but not in depressed ABI participants ( p = .08, d = .61), where higher vividness ratings for negative scenarios approached significance (see Figure 1 b).
