Although there was a strong trend, previous surgery of the affected shoulder did not significantly increase the risk for iatrogenic nerve injury per se (RR 1.23, 95% CI 1.02–1.75; p = 0.074).

Cortisol showed no significant (p = 0.818) difference for (pre to 30 min post) between CHO and PL (CHO: 483.07 ± 912.77 ng/mL; PL= 583.82 ± 1134.33 ng/mL) conditions but a strong trend (p = 0.074) was observed for (pre to 60 min post) post (CHO: 1023.19 ± 1500.40 ng/mL; PL= 1480.33 ± 2214.80 ng/mL) condition.

Cyp7a1 , which catalyzes the rate-limiting step in bile acid synthesis, was reduced in Chow/Kd mice with a strong trend toward statistical significance ( p = 0.0745) ( Figure 4 A).

Last, by using chromatin immunoprecipitation PCR in CLU177 cells with knockdown of HDAC5, we observed a strong trend towards reduced binding of STAT3 to its cis -regulatory element near the transcriptional start site of the Pomc promoter ( P =0.075, two-tailed t -test; Fig. 4l ).

In individuals with type 1 diabetes mellitus, significant differences were observed in the expression of miR-378a ( p = 0.000) and miR-122 ( p = 0.019), and a strong trend in miR-142 ( p = 0.075), which all showed lower expression compared to the healthy control group.

Although patients with postoperative GP73 levels above >85.82 ng/mL showed a strong trend towards an impaired OS, statistical significance was not reached ( p = 0.075, Figure 4 C).

This difference reached formal statistical significance for the NSCLC cohort ( p < 0.05), while the HNSCC and breast cancer cohorts showed a strong trend ( p = 0.075 and p = 0.071, respectively) towards elevated levels.

A strong trend was observed for the effect of Plk1 mRNA expression on OS in NSCLC patients, with a HR of 1.126 (P = 0.075) (Table 4 ) .

Nmb displayed a strong trend towards being upregulated in female fat tissue at 2.2-fold (p = 0.075), whereas Lep trended towards a higher expression in male fat tissue at 1.6-fold (p = 0.088).

In addition, we assessed the levels HSPB8 protein, which is known to interact with BAG3 and facilitate the autophagic process as part of the ALP, 22 , 23 and as expected, BAG3 treatment resulted in a strong trend toward increased HSPB8 protein levels ( p = 0.076) in muscle ( Figure 6 D).

However, there was a strong trend towards increased BOHB uptake from 0 [0–1.1] to 8.3 [0.4–19.7] mmol/min with CRT ( P = .076), as shown in Figure 3B .

The average power of γ-oscillatory activity was significantly reduced in brain-specific conditional N4-1/N4-2 KO mice ( Nedd4-1 f/f ; Nedd4-2 f/f ; EMX -Cre; N4-1/2 bDKO; Gorski et al., 2002 ; Kawabe et al., 2010 ; Kimura et al., 2011 ) or showed a strong trend toward a significant reduction (P = 0.076) in brain-specific N4-2 KO mice ( Nedd4-2 f/f ; EMX -Cre; N4-2 bKO) as compared with their corresponding controls ( Nedd4-1 f/f ; Nedd4-2 f/f ; N4-1/2 CTL and Nedd4-2 f/f ; N4-2 CTL, respectively) when tested with a stringent statistical test (i.e., nested t test; Fig. 1 ).

In multivariable analysis, lower RV systolic performance determined by RV FAC ≤ 42.5% emerged as a primary independent predictor of recurrence ( p = 0.003), while the LA contraction strain/LAVI ratio demonstrated a strong trend towards significance ( p = 0.076).

Conditioning treatment did not have a significant effect on egg fertilization probability, but as in clutch size, there was a strong trend ( P = 0.076) in terms of differences in egg fertilization probability between large and small males.

Meanwhile, pERK1/ERK1 ratio was not significantly different among the groups, despite showing a strong trend toward a decrease with age (For pERK1/ERK1: F (2,17) = 3.01; P = 0.076; For pERK2/ERK2: F (2,17) = 8.87; P = 0.002) ( Fig. 3 ).
