While SEB could also induce a positive trend in IL-5 production in inferior turbinate tissue, this trend does not reach significance ( Fig 2B ).

Of interest, a positive trend between a history of photosensitivity and type I IFN-induced gene expression has been reported by Kirou et al.

In the study, the inflammatory markers (IL-6 and C-reactive protein (CRP)) were not predictive of the treatment response, as despite a positive trend in both the markers, there was no significant change observed in the PVR.

The literature includes research findings that indicate a positive trend across all measurement domains.
