In subgroup analyses, extended thromboprophylaxis with rivaroxaban showed a nonsignificant trend towards less efficacy than short-term enoxaparin in patients with active cancer on day 35 (9.9% versus 7.4%; RR 1.34; 95% CI 0.71–2.54), 64 , 65 while clinically relevant bleeding was more frequent with rivaroxaban than with enoxaparin plus placebo onday35 (5.4% versus 1.7%, 64 RR 3.16; 95%CI 1.17–8.50; authors’ calculation).
