In our current study, we recorded a negative trend in performance of the tested germination traits with increasing level of salinity treatments across all the SA priming doses [reduction in final germination (%), germination energy (%), seedling length (cm), and seedling vigor index with an increase in mean germination time (day)].
Although protein, LA, vitamin B-12, zinc, iron, carbohydrates, and sodium components showed a negative trend across the ELD-I quintiles, all were of small magnitude, except for zinc, which had a moderate effect size, or even showed no significant trends, as was the case with iron and proteins.
