A clear trend of systolic and diastolic blood pressure reductions from baseline to end-point occurred with each lixisenatide dose (ranging from −2 to −9 mmHg for the systolic, and −2 to −4 mmHg for the diastolic blood pressures), and also with placebo (−3 and −2 mmHg for systolic and diastolic blood pressures, respectively).
For 2‐arylalcohols that are proposed to undergo deconstructive methoxylation via the formation of primary benzylic radical intermediates (left column, top 3 rows), a clear trend in conversion to the corresponding methyl ether product, (methoxymethyl)benzene, was observed, with the 3° alcohol giving 60 % conversion, the 2° alcohol giving only 39 % conversion, whilst the 1° alcohol was found to be unreactive.
These results highlight a clear trend, as the number of amine groups and the spacer length between them increased, the adsorption of the surfactants decreased. 50,62–64 This behaviour is attributed to the increased steric hindrance and enhanced hydrophilicity of surfactants with longer spacers and more terminal amine groups, which reduce their affinity for rock surfaces. 44,65,66 The nonionic nature of these surfactants further limits electrostatic interaction with the negatively charged mineral surfaces, particularly in carbonate formations that are typically less reactive than sandstone.
In recent years, research data based on large-scale population databases and multicentre cohorts have presented a clear trend of narrowing indications supported by emerging evidence, prompting a shift in the focus of clinical decision-making from relying solely on anatomical staging for prophylactic irradiation to integrating recurrence risk stratification for precision treatment.
