While the results for positive associations did not follow a clear trend, we observed a robust association between FC decrease with YWD overlapping with RSN and EXEC networks for AD patients (Fig. 4 A and B, right subpanels), while for bvFTD patients this association was present almost exclusively at the SN (Fig. 4 B and C, right subpanels).
Although statistical significance was not found due in part to our small sample size, both the Ocular MD average and the all calculator average showed a clear trend of increased accuracy in mean arithmetic and absolute IOL prediction error, variance, and the percentage of eyes within ±0.50 D when compared with the individual averages (ASCRS, Ocular MD SRK/T, and Ocular MD Haigis, see Table 2 ).
Importantly, there was also a clear trend towards worse long‐term prognosis in patients with NDLVC who developed ventricular dilatation during follow‐up (interestingly, in most of these patients overt dilatation occurred in a relatively short period of time, i.e., 6–12 months). 4 Data presented in cited research have two important clinical implications.
Although densitometric analysis of the Western blot images did not show statistically significant differences in the levels of GPIIb, GPIIIa, and PF4 between plasma and serum ( P = 0.19, 0.18, and 0.057, respectively; Student t -test) owing to large variances between individuals ( Fig 5D ), a clear trend of a selective increase in platelet-associated proteins in serum is in good agreement with the results observed in mouse blood experiments ( Fig 4 ).
