Only SNPs mapped to the autosomes, with call rates > 0.98, minor allele frequencies > 0.03, and not in a highly significant deviation from the Hardy–Weinberg equilibrium ( P > 10 −7 ), were considered for the analyses.
Excerpts
The qPCR and array-based metrics do not follow a linear relationship; the correlation between the two improves at highly significant array-based p-values < 10 -7 [ 43 ].
As expected, there was significant enrichment of pathways involved in ‘bacterial invasion of epithelial cells’, ‘tight junctions’, ‘cytokine-cytokine receptor interactions’ and ‘colorectal cancer’; however, we also observed a highly significant association with ‘apoptosis’ (p<10 −7 ) ( online supplementary figure 6 ).
Testing this in a univariate linear model, we found the association to be highly significant (beta 1.13, p < 1e-7, Fig 4 ).
A paired-sample t test was highly significant ( t (20) , p < 0.0000001).
There was a highly significant difference (P< 10-7) between the two groups of patients.
Note this correlation is still highly significant ( P = 10 × 10 −8 ).
While the p values for both the clinical TNM and the proposed TB model’s staging, for the aforementioned statistical tests, are highly significant (p < 1E-07), the proposed staging yields larger test statistics.
The student’s t test showed that the differences in mean levels of expression in the 2 groups in arrays were highly significant; for 483-3p, p=0.0000001 and for 548e-3p = 0.0009482.
8 , highly significant effects were observed for the factors of eccentricity ( F (1,5) = 2458.257, p = 10 −7 ), and visual area ( F (1.574,7.871) = 107.981, p = 10 −5 , Greenhouse-Geisser corrected), and a significant interaction was found between these two factors ( F (3,15) = 85.102, p = 10 −8 ).
4 d) is highly significant (Pearson's ρ = 0.43, uncorrected P < 1E−7).
It is worth also noting that the multivariate Cramer Test that detects differences in cytokine patterns was not significantly different between ND and PIH‐in group ( P = .087), while, as expected, the P ‐value between ND and PIH‐out was extremely significant ( P = .0000001).
Among 85 tissue cores with clear tumor and benign epithelium regions randomly selected for analysis, the difference in staining was highly significant ( P = 1 × 10 −7 ).
These correlations are highly significant (binomial test P <1×10 −7 ).
4 confirm that the association between folding intermediates and translational pause sites is highly significant (one-sided P < 10 − 7 at neutral-model P -value thresholds below 0.01; SI Appendix , Fig.
Canonical pathway analysis revealed ten statistically highly significant pathways (−log(p) < 7) at the 30 min time point, but at the 24 h time point, no pathway reached a -log(p) value <4, and thus, their significance is questionable.
There was approximately a two-fold down regulation of EGFR in A + AD compared with A − AD which was highly significant (p < 10 −7 ) ( Supplementary Figure 6 ).
The final model (Predation = −66.2917 + 2.15625G − 0.8421X + 0.0106X 2 ) was highly significant (F 3,47 = 323.8478, p = 1 × 10 −7 ) and explained a large proportion of variation in predation (adjusted R 2 = 0.9537).
Introduction of ACP filler into resins resulted in modest, though highly significant (two-sample independent t -test), reduction of DVC in all systems: 9.7% in the Bis-GMA group ( p < 0.0000001), 7.1% in the EBPADMA group ( p < 0.000003), and 5.4% in the UDMA group ( p < 0.00007).
Fisher’s exact tests further supported the differentiation in eight populations, indicating highly significant gene differentiation between all pairs of populations (P<10 −7 ).
3c ), the interaction was not significant ( F (1, 33)<1, P =0.37), but there was a highly significant main effect of saliency ( F (1, 33)=62.34, P =1.0e−07), and a significant main effect of saccade-goal ( F (1, 33)=12.58, P =0.0011).
3 Discussion The first significant finding derived from this study is the clear and highly significant correlation between TD and response, with a response rate of only 9.1% for patients with TD <205 Gy against 89.7% for those with TD ≥205 Gy, P <10 −7 .
Statistical power drops off rapidly as the interaction odds ratio goes from 1.50–1.25; even at a modest significance level of P < 10 −7 , we did not have power to detect an interaction with an odds ratio of 1.25 for any condition ( Table S7 ).
The two features were highly significant by hypothesis testing of difference between type medians ( p < 10 −7 and p < 10 −6 , respectively; Figure 4D ), and to a lesser extent by testing of correlation with age ( p < 10 −4 and p < 10 −3 ) or body mass index ( p < 10 −2 and p < 5 × 10 −2 ).
The partial correlations coefficients were still statistically highly significant ( P < 10 -7 , for all comparisons) and indicated that the correlations between ω and breadth of expression were independent from gene length.
