Two microRNAs, miR-29a and miR-29c, were disclosed and further meta-analysis of the six mRNA expression datasets showed that these two microRNAs were highly significant based on the Fisher p-value combination (p = 9.14×10 −9 for miR-29a and p = 1.14×10 −6 for miR-29c).
The ANOVA of flaA -SVR groups from caecal isolates demonstrated a highly significant difference in the numbers of isolates between flaA -SVR groups ( P = 9.37 x 10 −9 ).
Among them, the MCV level was highly significant (nominal p = 9.8×10 −9 ) in association with the DYRK1A -SNP1 (c.2989 G<A), and explained 4.9% of the phenotypic variance.
5e ), and the difference in means was overall highly significant ( p = 9.95 * 10 −9 , two-sided t -test based on the data in Fig. 5d ).
All of the heritability and correlation estimates were highly significant ( p < 1 × 10 −8 ).
When we assessed the relationship between these two major allele classes and the above-described symptomatic and asymptomatic disease outcomes, we found a highly significant ( P < 1e −08 ; analysis of variance [ANOVA], F 2,43 = 30.06) relationship between allele class and disease outcome such that those CC-RIX mice homozygous for the classic inbred allele showed an enhanced propensity for symptomatic disease outcomes.
This enrichment is highly significant, as only 5.5% of informative sites overlap a DSB hotspot (p < 10 −8 , calculated from 10 8 permutations; see ‘Materials and methods’—‘Inclusion criteria’).
Biological underpinning of the shared genetic components—translational evidence from mice For each of the Master PCs, the top-500 correlations across all records of the Amygdala Cohort Database, ranked by the Genetic Correlation (Spearman's rho), were strong (absolute value ranging from 0.7 to 0.9), and highly significant ( p < 10 −8 , Supplementary Tables 5, 6 ).
