Statistical analysis showed that the differences between these groups are highly significant (p = 2 × 10 -10 and p = 5 × 10 -10 , respectively).
2f-h ) and are highly significant ( P < 2E10 −3 ) in accurately describing the relative contribution of each TALE ( Supplementary Table 3 ).
Of those, 149,773 could be considered significant at P < 2e−10.
t-test demonstrated a highly significant difference between healthy mucosa and tumour tissue (P < 0.0000000002), between peritumoral mucosa and British Journal of Cancer (1998) 78(6), 765-770 A 8000- B Ul) 0~ L- '8 .0 78 0) 0~ 6000 4000 2000 - I Healthy mucosa Peritumoral mucosa A- C 30
Risk post‐RP The post‐RP CCR score was a highly significant predictor of metastasis after RP (HR per unit score, 2.03 [95% CI: 1.66, 2.48]; p = 2.1 × 10 −10 ).

Investigation of each inflammatory factors in the three groups of normal, abdominal or general obesity, and abdominal and general obesity groups revealed an increasing trend for hs-CRP and IL-6; hence after adjustment for age and sex in the linear regression analysis, an increase about 0.37 ng/mL (CI 95%: 0.24 - 0.48, P = 2.2 × 10 -10 ) in the hs-CRP levels and 0.21 pg/mL (CI 95%: 0.10 - 0.33, P = 16 × 10 -5 ) in the IL-6 levels was observed in the normal weight group compared to subjects with both general and abdominal obesity ( Table 1 ).
As a result, group comparisons were performed with a Kruskal–Wallis test, which showed a highly significant effect of expertise level on S (d, s) (H = 44.42, p = 2.26 × 10 −10 ; Table 2b ).
A multivariate, ANOVA-type analysis showed that time was a highly significant factor for lesion severity ( P = 2.29x10 -10 ).
All traits showed higher-than-expected overlap via binomial testing (CAC: 102 nominally significant in CAC GWAS/1074 nominally significant in our DGEA; CAD: 145/1077; cIMT: 98/1077; all p < 2.3 × 10 −10 ).
The first of these, TRIOBP , was observed to be significant in our discovery cohort but not in the replication cohorts, while the other is NDE1 itself, which was highly significant in the larger GTEx database (β = 0.24; s.e. = 0.037; t -statistic = 6.6; p = 2.3 × 10 −10 ), but not originally observed in our discovery cohort.
One-way analysis of variance confirmed a highly significant difference in spore concentrations among all strains ( p = 2.36 × 10 –10 ; Supplementary Table 2 ).
A formal test of independence performed on the multi-way contingency table was highly significant (Chisq = 40.1, df = 1, p -value = 2.374e-10), revealing very strong associations between certain variables (Phi-Coefficient = 0.811), as graphically depicted in the association plot presented in Fig 6 .
Interestingly, we found a highly significant overlap between differentially expressed and alternatively transcribed genes in LPS response (63/150, hypergeometric test p < 2.4 × 10 −10 ), but no significant overlap between differentially expressed and alternatively transcribed genes between MDMs and IPSDMs (28/140, hypergeometric test p < 0.74).
Scaled He revealed a decreasing trend in diversity from east to west using the whole meta-dataset ( r s = 0.4, p = 2.4e-10, Fig. 4 d), while a weak but opposite trend was observed with the unscaled data ( r s = − 0.19, p = 0.004, Fig. 4 c).
This bias towards inactivation is highly significant (p = 2.5e-10 in a chi-squared test), indicating that more promoters are inactivated by E2 than are activated, which supports the previous report about estrogen-mediated early-down regulated genes [ 43 ].
Enrichment of the both GO categories was highly significant (cell cycle: p = 2.5E-10, immune system process: p = 0.00096).
