These moderate but highly significant reductions in gene expression, when combined, likely account for the ciliogenic and Hh defects of Nfe2l2 −/− cells.
Excerpts
We compared the distribution of the sample-specific edge-weights between the mild and severe groups and identified six edges which were nominally significant with a p -value less than 0.05: gPC1 with cPC2, gPC8 with cPC8 and cPC4, gPC3 with cPC10, gPC13 with cPC9, and gPC12 with cPC1 (Fig. 4B ).
For the other periods and meteorological variables, correlations between the ratio of reproductive females, temperature and rainfall, although statistically highly significant, appeared complex, often time-lagged, and hard to interpret unequivocally (Tables 4 and 5 ).
2a ) that the correlation between ISMR and QQ mode has a decreasing trend with strong negative correlations in early years decreasing to weak negative correlation in recent years.
P < 0.01 was defined as “significant”; P < 0.001 as “highly significant”.
Even the resistant cells showed a decreasing trend but the cells were significantly more viable than the parental MCF-7 cells at all the three doses – 2 μM, 5 μM and 10 μM.
Although the difference was not statistically significant, overexpression of ITGB3BP showed a trend of decreased in vivo proliferation (Supplementary Fig.
There was a nonsignificant trend towards differential distribution of NGAL mRNA by severity of AKI (mild-to-moderate injury: median 2.1-fold increase (range 1–27.6); severe injury 1.4-fold increase (range 0.7–6.2); no injury 1.4-fold increase (range 0.8–8.2); p = 0.13 for a difference among groups) (Supplemental Figure S8 ).
The analysis of cortisol levels showed a trend of reduction in all the examined time-points, but in none of them it becomes significant as compared to control group.
p < 0.05 and 0.01 were regarded as significant and highly significant values, respectively.
Because there has been no systematic screening, we have noticed that a very small number of cases of carcinoma in situ was diagnosed, but the number shows an increasing trend.
They have revealed a clear improvement over individual experiments, probably because it has the advantage of combining moderately significant or condition-specific relationships 9 .
Due to a significant group difference in chlorpromazine (CPZ) equivalent dosage and a marginally significant difference in sex distributions between the two groups, we tested whether regional effects from the group comparison analyses remained significant after controlling for CPZ equivalent dose and sex to exclude the possibility that findings were due to these possible confounds.
Specifically, differences in inter-domain correlations between TM1/C1 region and TM3/TM4 region as well as intra- domain correlations of the TM1 helix are quite significant (Fig. 6 ).
Positive values of Sen’s slope indicate an increasing trend and negative values indicate a decreasing trend.
Recent years have seen an increasing trend of online gambling due to its low barriers to entry, high anonymity and instant payout.
However, in the presence of vitamin K1, the ALR2 activity showed a decreasing trend with increase in DL-glyceradehyde concentration.
A highly significant difference was observed at 192 h between the submergence treatment group and the control group.
Although the association of the ESR2 rs1271572T/T genotype with a decreased risk of having bone erosions remained only marginally significant after correction for multiple testing, we found a significant RF-specific effect of this SNP to modulate the risk of having erosive disease.
Subsequently, anthropogenic stimulation of the production of STBR towards the end of the aquatic continuum and right before the coastal environment may contribute to explaining the lack of a decreasing trend in STBR at river mouths (Fig. 1 ).
Flavonoids attenuate pro-inflammatory cytokines and reverse some M1-related metabolic changes The three flavonoids studied, especially naringenin and naringin, considerably reduced the production of the pro-inflammatory factor TNF-α by pre-polarized M1 macrophages, and showed a trend for attenuating the levels of IL-1β and IL-6 (Fig. 4A ).
In a study on major depressive disorder where the authors randomized 12 patients to naltrexone 1 mg/day or placebo, there were borderline significant improvements in some clinical depression measures 4 .
In contrast, the lipid associations showed nominally significant bicarbonate and highly significant potassium associations.
The amino-acid associations for hypochloremic alkalosis show highly significant associations with serum bicarbonate while the associations with potassium were only minor.
Moreover, during the respiratory occlusion events, the low-anxious group showed a trend of more extensive hemodynamic response in the inferior parietal cortex (IPC), especially the supramarginal gyrus, and in the middle frontal gyrus, than the high-anxious group did.
