We obtained completely significant cis-eQTL (FDR < 0.05) and cis-pQTL ( p < 5e-08), as well as allele frequency information, as shown in (Supplementary Table 1).

Initially, selected were only SNPs that had a highly significant association with exposure ( p < 5 × 10 −8 ).
We run a GWAS Cox model, with the first 10 PCs, age, age 2 , sex, period of infection and patient series as covariates and we found one variant (rs117011822) associated with survival at P -value < 5.0 × 10 −8 (genome-wide significance level) and another one (rs7208524) nearly significant ( P -value = 5.19 × 10 −8 ).
borderline significancep = 5.9 × 10 –8
To the best of our knowledge, significant genome wide association for four of these loci are unreported in the context of de novo tinnitus (represented by rs7336872, rs115125870, rs1532898 and rs2537), with rs7336872 showing borderline significance in the study by Wells et al. 14 ( p = 5.9 × 10 –8 ).
Here, the difference was highly significant for pyramidal neurons (Fig. 2 c; p = 6.3 × 10 − 8 ).
The identified lead SNP rs3732593 was extremely significant (P = 7.19 × 10 −8 ) in the discovery FHS sample but was only nominally significant (P = 0.04) in the replication sample.
However, the difference between the numbers of uniquely mapped reads to each genome was highly significant ( p = 8.95E-08).
In the WHI, all but one of the 1000 cis CpG-transcript pairs from discovery in FHS replicated at a nominally significant p -value of 0.05 with matching effect directionality, while 997 replicated at p < 1E−7 with matching effect directionality.
Four genetic variants were found to be nominally significant (p-value < 1 × 10 −7 ) in this GWAS of 163,985 women 22 .
The difference of this value with the plateau of neutralizing activity of hospitalized individuals was highly significant (p < 10 –7 by Z-test, and p < 10 –4 by Wilcoxon test as described in methods; Fig. 2 B), and reflects the different distribution (p = 0.0003, Chi-square test) of individuals with undetectable (< 20), low (20–100), medium (100–1000) or high (> 1000) neutralization titers in the non-hospitalized and the hospitalized groups (Fig. 2 C).
Using this metric, we see a strong positive ( r = 0.96 ) and highly significant (P < 10 − 7 ) Pearson correlation between the phylum and genus level predictions (see Tables 3 and 4 for this and other correlations).
While the p values for both the clinical TNM and the proposed TB model’s staging, for the aforementioned statistical tests, are highly significant (p < 1E-07), the proposed staging yields larger test statistics.
ANCOVA with post-intervention VASs as the dependent variable and baseline VASa as covariate showed that the group effect remained highly significant after adjustment (F = 40.36, p < 1 × 10 −7 , η 2 = 0.25), confirming that the intervention effect is not explained by baseline differences the same applied for VASs (F(1,46) = 22.45, p = 2.1 × 10 −5 , η 2 = 0.12).
On Day 5, WT mice exhibited peak activity, with highly significant increases in total distance ( p < 1 × 10−7), rotations ( p < 1 × 10−6), and corner distance ( p < 0.0001).
PA6 rM content had a highly significant effect on DIC development (Fig. 2 ; 1-way ANOVA; n = 9, g = 3, df = 2; F = 33.59, p = 1.13 × 10 −7 ).
Although none of the 12 SNPs reached genome-wide significance ( P = 1.17 × 10 −7 ) in this validation analysis, SNP rs13720 exhibited a borderline significant association with progression to jaundice stage (OR = 2.15, 95% CI = 1.61–2.87, P = 1.36 × 10 −7 , Table 2 ).
When we compared our promoter and gene body associated VMGs (271 genes) with that of Harris, we found highly significant overlap of 43 genes ( P = 1.75 × 10 −7 , hypergeometric test).
In the HeLa cell line, BiP-MSR-3x had 53 times lower reporter activity than BiP-MSR-4x, a highly significant difference (Mann-Whitney U = 168, n1 = 14, n2 = 12, p < 2 × 10 −7 ).
This gene score and anxiety had a highly significant interaction effect on WM ( p = 2.14E−7).
PLR latency We identified four highly significant differentially methylated probes associated with three PLR latency phenotypes at a stringent p-value threshold ( p < 2.4 × 10 − 7 , see Table 2 ).
In analyses including all NSCLC patients, PRSS3 gene expression showed highly significant association with both poor OS (HR 1.47, P = 2.6e-7; Fig. 1a ) and poor PFS (HR 2.15, P = 2.7e-11; Fig. 1b ).
Eight additional gene-gene interactions were also marginally significant ( P < 5 × 10 –7 ).
Adding a large excess of non-labeled affibody molecule resulted in a highly significant (p < 5 × 10 −7 ) reduction of cell-associated activity.
The PPI enrichment score was statistically highly significant P = 5.01 × 10 –7 indicating strong interaction.
Moreover, the regressions are highly significant, as reflected by F = 127.60 and p = 5.15 × 10−7 for cohesion and F = 69.26 and p = 8.32 × 10−6 for the internal friction angle.
