There was a constant, highly significant difference in time to retinopathy over the entire range (for 140/80 mmHg 22.4 vs 24.7 years, logrank test, chi square 44.91; p<0.0001), suggesting the absence of any threshold below which retinopathy is being prevented.
The increases over time were highly significant for the seronegative and intermediate baseline groups (p<0.0001, p = 0.0026, respectively) but not for the initially high baseline group (p = 0.23).
The analysis reveals a highly significant correlation between the two methods (Pearson's coefficient of correlation = −0.5614, 95% upper limit = −0.4558, 95% lower limit = −0.5614, p<0.0001) that supports the use of normalized 454 counts as a measure of relative gene expression across groups.
Age is also highly significant (younger p < 0.0001 in univariate analysis), as is the prevalence of socioeconomic disadvantage in the local area where respondents live (less disadvantage p = 0.0006 in univariate analysis), but both become non-significant in multivariate analysis, i.e. when analysed in the context of the other independent variables.
Following an alternative approach for scalar variables we compute the assortativity coefficient r [ 54 ] and again find highly significant homophily at the last time point r HS (6) = 0.20 ( p -value < 10 −4 ) and r U,4 (14) = 0.21 ( p -value < 10 −4 ).

The LRT statistic for dispersion is 85.87 and is clearly significant with one degree of freedom and p-value < 0.0001 (refer to Eq (10) ).
The Ct values attained for the SARS-CoV-2 E gene using the AGPC method showed a highly significant correlation to those reported for the Cobas ® 6800 system (r = 0.97, p<0.0001) and the Maxwell ® instrument (r = 0.98, p<0.0001).
The difference between median value of C PRSA and C RAW was highly significant (0.79 [IQR 0.69–0.90] and 0.29 [IQR 0.17–0.47], respectively; p<0.0001).
Risk Group As shown in Table 3 , the main effect of risk group was highly significant [ F = 20.83; p < 0.0001], showing that HR subjects [2.96 (0.01)] manifested significantly lower theta power than their LR counterparts [3.10 (0.03)].
As expected, a negative trend between both variables is evident in the two groups ( Fig. 4b ), with individual seed mass decreasing linearly with increasing fruit seediness ( F = 126.0, P <0.0001, d.f. = 3, 87).
Treatment had a highly significant effect on cob damage ( F 1,308 = 118.996, P < 0.0001), demonstrating that the IPM package substantially reduced FAW-induced cob injury compared to the untreated control.
A highly significant correlation between 24-h protein intake and 24-h urine urea excretion was found (t 50 = 15.7, p<0.0001) ( Figure S2 ).
Furthermore, 2.40 MBq 90 Y-DOTA-DAB4 given 24 hours after chemotherapy produced a highly significant extension of MST to 61 days ( P <0.0001 versus control, and P <0.001 versus any other treatment including 2.40 MBq 90 Y-DOTA-7E11 given 24 hours after chemotherapy; Figure 6B ).
