The enrichment for bands on 13q and 14q was highly significant (p<0.001 for the family-wise error rate, the most stringent criterion in the Broad Institute implementation of GSEA).
Excerpts
BYDV-PAV was highly significant ( p <0.001), but not significant for the other 3 reference genes (ACT1, p = 0.310; EF-1α, p = 0.139; GAPDH, p = 0.590).
At F21, the CIf/CIm difference was also highly significant for both high and unselected lines ( P <0.001) whereas it was reduced in the low discrimination lines ( P <0.05).
Additionally, it showed excellent sampling adequacy, with a Kaiser-Meyer-Olkin (KMO) value of 0.94, and the Bartlett’s test of sphericity was highly significant (χ 2 = 3713.26, df = 276, p < 0.001), indicating strong evidence of construct validity and relationships among the variables assessed.
The log-rank test indicates highly significant differences between groups (p < 0.001).
pubescens showed a very highly significant ( Table 1 , ANOVA test, P <0.001) reduction in vessel lumen size between the control ring and the injury ring, ranging from 42 to 64% for lumen area and from 20 to 39% for lumen diameter.
There was a highly significant association ( p < .001) between incidence of VLBW and BMI category.
From the 49 OTUs that were analyzed, 9 showed highly significant ( P ≤ 0.001) correlations to one or more of the parameters ( Table 4 ).
In the univariate analysis age, T stage, N stage, grade and combined MMR-BRAF status were all highly significant (all p <0.001).
As such, there was a highly significant effect among sites within exposure (F 4, 30 = 10.1, p<0.001) but no significant difference in overall density of colonies of Acropora spp. between exposures (F 1, 30 = 0.8, p>0.10).
In all regions, there were highly significant differences between the actual and expected stand age distributions (average ages of dominant trees with no fire exclusion) ( P <0.001, Fig. 2A–F ), indicating that fire was the predominant disturbance prior to effective fire exclusion.
In the left superior parietal lobe (SPL), a marginally significant (at whole brain P <.001 uncorrected ) positive interaction for synaesthetes was found for the contrast of the collapsed synaesthesia CC and IC conditions, compared to the collapsed colour CC and IC conditions (see Table 3 ).
When the two large groups of RP samples (benign RP-B and malignant RP-PCa) were compared with each other, most of the differences were statistically still highly significant (p≤0.001), except for RHOU , LMNB1 and PLA2G7 , indicating the stronger impact of detectable cancer tissue on biomarker expression patterns compared to likely field effects.
Embryo growth rates (expressed as % increase from beginning to the end of embryogenesis, and mm day −1 ) increased significantly under the present-day scenarios, but there was a significant trend reversal at future summer conditions (red symbols, 19°C, Fig. 1C,D, F = 92.3, p<0.001).
The analysis of variance revealed highly significant differences ( P < 0.001) among genotypic variance and genotype × environment interaction variance.
Furthermore, the box plot showed a highly significant difference in the mean expression levels of RBMS3 between NPC tumors and non-tumor samples (p<0.001; Fig. 1B ).
The difference is highly significant (Mann-Whitney test: p<0.001).
Heterogeneity assessment and meta-analysis Highly significant heterogeneity was detected when all eligible studies were pooled (chi-squared = 35.73, I 2 = 72.0%, p<0.001).
The dropping of Vra1 or Vra2 showed a highly significant reduction of the additive LOD (p<0.001 with F statistics).
C3a-desArg levels in the 4 mM citrate group tended to be lower as compared to the 3 mM citrate group, but the difference did not reach statistical significance (main effect of time p < 0.001, citrate group p = 0.107 and interaction effect p = 0.246).
Except for k = 1 and k = 1.25 the error of both methods shows a significant ( p < 0.05), for most values of k even highly significant ( p < 0.001) difference.
The difference in IC50 between laboratory 12 (45) and the other PSV laboratories (1284) was highly significant (p<0.001, paired t-test) while the difference between lab 12 and the laboratories performing PBMC assays (36) was not (p = 0.29) ( Figure S3 ).
The effect of RWI two years prior (RWI_Lag2) was most important in 2002 ( t = 5.09; P < 0.001, but was also highly significant in 2003 ( t = 3.59; P < 0.001), two years after the drought event.
As expected, we detected a highly significant (p<0.001) increase in the number of DNA double-strand breaks between non-injected embryos and Camptothecin injected embryos ( Figure 3F ).
Here, a Student’s t -test revealed highly significant latency differences between conditions ( t (17)adj = -14.143, p < 0.001, d = -6.860).
