The fully adjusted model demonstrated a highly significant statistical fit ( ∆ χ 2 = 49.065, p < 0.001), accounting for 15.6% of the total variance in CV biomarker unawareness (Nagelkerke (R 2 = 0.156)).
Excerpts
Here, the study group did not retain its significance ( p = 0.631), while ST performance was highly significant ( p < 0.001).
Two-Way Repeated Measures ANOVA (Log-IL-6) The 2 × 2 repeated measures ANOVA on log-transformed IL-6 revealed a highly significant group × time interaction (F(1,38) = 36.89, p < 0.001), indicating a substantially different IL-6 response to exercise between the experimental and control groups.
In 112 consecutive patients, we found a highly significant correlation of baseline creatinine with NUTRIC (r s = 0.500, R 2 = 0.167, p < 0.001) and mNUTRIC (r s = 0.517, R 2 = 0.175, p < 0.001) on admission to ICU.
Still, the estimated difference using all the included trials was highly significant (SMD 0.38 (95CI 0.20 – 0.55), p < 0.001) with a better outcome for the intervention group.
The effect of history of recent hypercholesterolemia treatment was highly significant in the GLMs of both outcomes ( p < 0.001), and the achieved statistical power was β = 64.5 and β = 74.2 for LDL-C and TC, respectively.
Highly significant differences ( p < 0.001) with a medium effect size (from 0.51 to 0.73) were observed for the following parameters: sTfR, CHr, LowCHr, MCVr, MCH, MCV, CH, LowCHm, and MICROm.
The paths leading to eating disorders risk were all significant at the 10% level of significance, but only depression showed a highly significant effect (path coefficient =0.456, p < 0.001).
In all models for HPDI ( Table 2 ), there was a significant trend ( p < 0.001–0.037) of lower risk of respiratory infection with higher consumption of healthy plant foods.
Following the post hoc screening, the following degrees of significance were established: not significant ( p > 0.05); significant ( p ≤ 0.05); very significant ( p ≤ 0.01); and highly significant ( p ≤ 0.001).
There was a highly significant increase in DIT after consuming the whole food meal compared to the more processed meal (whole food meal: 99.4 (40.7) kJ/h; processed meal: 63.9 (35.6) kJ/h, p < 0.001 for total kJ and p < 0.01 for total % ECM [ 26 ]). 3.7.
In the young cohort (<30 years), IF provoked a substantial and highly significant increase in LDL-C (MD = 6.75 mg/dL, 95% CI [3.15, 10.34], p < 0.001, Supplementary Figure S32 ).
The results were considered significant (* p < 0.05), very significant (** p < 0.01), highly significant (*** p < 0.001) or no significant (ns). 3.
In the PENS-Diet group, the median values received a score of 2 (range 1–4), representing a significant trend towards constipation ( p < 0.001).
Vitamin D supplementation was associated with a decreasing trend of iPTH and C-reactive protein (CRP) ( p < 0.001).
Weight, fat mass (higher in females), AC, FFM (higher in males), body water and BMR showed highly significant differences (all p < 0.001), indicating substantial gender variability in body composition.
A highly significant ( p < 0.001) increase was recorded in SOD activity in probiotic + Vit-C group, when compared with that of the diabetic group, administered with Vit-C only.
A highly significant and dose-dependent decrease in the percentage of oxidized CoQ10 was observed both at 4 weeks (F = 11.023, p < 0.001) and at 8 weeks (F = 10.087; p < 0.001), although the difference between 4 and 8 weeks was not significant (paired t-test; placebo, p = 0.183; 100 mg/day, p = 0.523; 200 mg/day, p = 0.356).
This will have the effect of p-value estimates being a little smaller than they should be – hence our emphasis on effect sizes, although the large size of the data implies that most if not all statistical results are highly significant ( i.e. , p < 0.001).
The only significant linear trend was a negative trend between serum folic acid levels and participants’ age (R 2 = 26.32%, β = −0.55 ± 0.11, p < 0.001), as well as a negative trend between serum folic acid levels and IgE levels (R 2 = 2.91%, β = −35.72 ± 30.36, p = 0.021).
Corticosterone concentrations in serum and milk showed a highly significant positive correlation (R = 0.6, p < 0.001) ( Figure 3 C); there was also a positive correlation between leptin concentrations in serum and milk (R = 0.4, p < 0.05) ( Figure 3 F). 3.4.
Nominally significant DEGs with a p -value < 0.001 were used as the input for the gene set enrichment analyses using FUMA [ 31 ] and ShinyGO version 0.77, as well as for transcription factor binding site enrichment analysis using CiiiDER [ 32 ].
