Although not statistically significant, the protein expression of the oxytocin receptor (OXTR) also showed a decreasing trend (Fig. 9c, d ).
Excerpts
From 0 to 10 h, drug concentration remained relatively high with a decreasing trend, reflecting the rapid distribution of SulfoCy5.5-Atv@Ce in the body.
Among the 7 metabolites identified in the primary analysis, most remained nominally significant after additional covariate adjustment and in restricted analyses, with complete directional concordance (Supplementary Data 1 ).

First, regardless of TE binding, or TF class, a clear trend is that TFs tend to be older than the sites they bind: promoter TFs have a median age of 429 MYA, while dark TFs have a median age of 99.19 MYA (Supplementary Fig. 9b ), which is still older than a typical binding site even for promoter TFs , and older than most human TEs (Supplementary Fig. 9c ).
Bioinformatic analysis of the upregulated genes in tumouricidal macrophages showed highly significant overlaps with genes or proteins known to be induced in macrophages by IFN-γ ( Supplementary Data S3 ).

A clear trend in the observed distribution of integrated PL intensity is visible; however, we observe a broader distribution using the waveguide and gold mirror as compared with no waveguide.
Nevertheless, the public health importance of low-density infections may be significant, as experiments have shown that mosquitoes feeding on individuals who are parasite-negative by microscopy can become infected with malaria 7 , 8 .

Parasite densities assessed by microscopy show a clear trend of increasing with increasing transmission intensity ( Fig. 2b ).
By contrast to the relatively small changes in North Atlantic and intermediate ocean, deep water δ 13 C values in the Southern Ocean/South Atlantic (Site 1090/704) show a significant trend towards lower values since the mPWP 10 , 16 .
Currently, contributions to the compensation of the deficiency of anionic glycolipids are likely to be significant in the order of PG>PI>PE, although it remains unknown whether this order is because of the difference in chemical properties or the difference in the organelle where they are mainly synthesized, that is, chloroplastic PG is synthesized in chloroplasts 47 , such as SQDG and presumably GlcADG, whereas PI and PE are mainly synthesized in the endoplasmic reticulum ( Fig. 6 ).
It is possible, however, that highly significant miRSNPs exist that were not identified in our study because a) they were not pre-selected for evaluation (i.e. they do not reside in a binding site involving miRNAs or genes with known relevance to EOC, or they reside in regions other than the 3′UTR 3 , 4 ) and/or b) they were very rare and could not be designed or detected with our genotyping platform and sample size, respectively.
The correlation between this ranking and the ordering produced by the suitability score assigned based on copy-number and mutation data is highly significant ( P -value 1.27e−05, Kendall’s tau rank-correlation test; Supplementary Data S2 ).
The highly significant association of the FGFR2 locus with breast cancer risk 2 has been replicated in multiple studies in Europeans 3 , Asians and African-Americans 4 .
Although gene set enrichment analysis (GSEA) 34 revealed highly significant overlaps with earlier studies 30 , 31 , most genes had not previously been associated with HPV status.
For all samples younger than 1840 AD with a B 1⁄2ARM between 23 and 63 mT, the pseudo-Thellier slopes show a decreasing trend with age ( Fig. 1b ).
ASCAT output was compared with karyotype/FISH analysis, where available, showing a highly significant correlation: the P -value reflecting the correlation between ASCAT and FISH analysis for hyperdiploidy, del(13) and del(17p) was <2.2e−16, <2.2e−16 and 3.615e−12, respectively (Fisher exact test).
Moreover, four loci were nominally significant in our data set, including SNPs in the extended MHC as well as NT5C2, PTGFR and CACNA1C .
We observed a marginally significant effect of GlcN on DAF-16-deficient worms ( Fig. 2g ), whereas the lack of SKN-1 fully negated the effects of GlcN on life span, even resulting in a shortened life span following GlcN treatment ( Fig. 2h ).
Moreover, previous work using the pairwise haplotype sharing test has shown that the region around CO has an extended haplotype 4 , although compared with genome-wide data the magnitude of pairwise haplotype sharing around CO is only marginally significant at the 95th percentile level ( Supplementary Fig. 1 in ref. 4 ).
The small differences that we do see are marginally non-significant in the opposite direction to that predicted if error-prone DNA polymerases were responsible for the observed modulation in mutation rate (i.e., greater dinB and umuC expression in the wild-type than Δ luxS mutant: strain contrast test N =48, t 41 =2.0, P =0.056; Model 10 in Methods).
The increase in the frequency of Sen-β-Gal-positive cells was highly significant ( Fig 6J ), indicating that disturbance of complex I assembly induced premature senescence of normal somatic cells.
After controlling for allele frequency, the first two of these were the most highly significant predictors ( Table 1 ).
An H/L ratio of >5 was considered as a highly significant enrichment in the bir-Tal1 sample.

There is a clear trend with decreasing d : the dislocations in action transition from full to partial inside the grains, and eventually to those in the GB to mediate grain rotation.
