P value thresholds were set at 0.05 ( p < 0.05) for significant differences (*), 0.01 ( p < 0.01) for highly significant differences (**).

These PLCG2 expression differences were largely driven by the significant overexpression detected in ADAD brains across all cell types except microglia, which was nominally significant (Supplementary Dataset 10 ).

There were 89 transcription factor pairs (representing ~29% of the interactions) that showed highly significant differences in expression depending on TFBS order (Fig. 3b-e ; t-test, Bonferroni corrected).

It has a peak in the mid-1700s and begins exhibiting a positive trend in the early 1800s.

The results showed a weak trend that photoinhibition of PSTN CR neurons (constant yellow photostimulation for 1 min) slightly reduced the probability of transitions and prolonged the latency from NREM sleep to wakefulness, while there is no statistical significance (Supplementary Fig. 11d–g ).

Even so, the robust and highly significant differences in symmetry index found between inhibitory classes can hardly be a mere reflection of rotation effects.

The RPV carbon mitigation potential per capita population and GDP were also estimated, showing an increasing trend from the southeast to the northwest (Supplementary Figs. 3 , 4 ).

Physical N embedded in soybean and its processed products contributed to the largest proportion of physical N (29.8%) in 2016, with an increasing trend between 1997 and 2016.

The relationship between crystallinity and electrical properties of the obtained Te nanomesh on different substrates were also studied, where their crystallinities and conductivities of Te nanomesh witness a decreasing trend from SiO 2 , mica, sapphire, polyimide to paper (Supplementary Fig. 19 ).

The 100x difference in luciferase activity between the human and mouse cells did not quite reach statistical significance due to high variation among the replicates in that experiment (Fig. 1a ).

The spectrum of coherent oscillations shows no shift in the frequencies of the phonon modes with decreasing pump energy, and the peak amplitudes do not show a strong trend, when normalised to the peak Δ T / T value (Fig. 1f ).

As observed from the Nyquist plots, the Nyquist semicircle diameters, representing the charge transfer resistance ( R ct ), show a decreasing trend from C 60 /Pt(dba) 2 /KB (67.8 Ω) to 20 wt% Pt/C (51.5 Ω) to Pt/C 60 -2/KB (45 Ω), consistent with the LSV results (Fig. 5a ).

On the other hand, MOF-808 exhibited a drastically lower response to the N 2 -NO 2 cycles, along with a decreasing trend for its performance (Fig. 6A black triangles).

Furthermore, in chronic itch-induced anxiety-like behavior, although no dramatic changes were observed in the lesion group, CM lesions exhibited a positive trend in both the OFT and EPM.

On the other hand, the lesion of CM exhibited an increasing trend in OA time and OA distance, although they were not significantly different from those in the DNFB model without CM lesions (Fig. 1l–m ).

Finally, the most consistent risk factor for time to insulin was isoleucine level, which was nominally significant in the discovery cohort (HR = 1.09, 95% CI = 0.96–1.25), a risk factor for incident diabetes in MDC (HR = 1.48, 95% CI = 1.26–1.74) and DESIR (OR = 23.88, 95% CI = 3.13–182.31) as well as prevalent diabetes (OR = 10.94, 95% CI = 3.94,30.32).

In external validation cohorts, Hcit showed a trend as a risk factor for incident diabetes (HR = 1.05, 95% CI = 0.74–1.48) in MDC.

Instead, the BAP1 KO single mutants showed a trend towards an increase in apoptotic cells, in agreement with previous reports on BAP1 loss in the liver 33 .

In general, upwelling systems exhibit highest pCO 2 in the nearshore region due to the upwelling of carbon-rich waters, and a decreasing trend offshore due to degassing and the biologically-mediated carbon uptake within the offshore-advecting upwelled water 34 , 40 , 41 .

Without making any claims on the possibly significant entropic contribution, this work suggests a fundamental, enthalpic explanation for the work function or PZC dependence of electrochemical processes and demonstrated the high significance, especially for electrochemical CO 2 reduction.

Co-culture of PDAC cells and macrophages underlined the advantage of experiments that allow bidirectional intercellular communication, revealing broad reciprocal adaptions and strong regulation of intercellular signals upon co-culture, with an overall trend toward increased secretion of cytokines and chemokines in both cell types.

The surface roughness of the PCA/AP MFs is greatly improved when compared to that of the pristine MF, whereas the roughness of the WPM MF shows a decreasing trend when compared to that of the corresponding PCA/AP MFs (see Supplementary Fig. 28 ).

Labeling with NF-M did not reveal an obvious trend across gestational time or region, and SST+HuC/D+ neurons remained scarce until 21PCW (Supplementary Fig. 1j–m ).

In contrast, rejection showed a decreasing trend with increasing pore sizes of COF membranes.
