The drug release data show that most of the PAR is likely to be released from the SLNs in aqueous/biological media, whereas there is likely to be significant retention of AMB and SSZ within the SLNs prior to absorption after administration.

Regarding the inhibition percentages obtained from the control film compared to films with extracts, there was an increasing trend that can be associated with the presence of functional groups with antioxidant properties, such as hydroxyl from the extract [ 31 ], as previously described.

The number of studies on oligonucleotide-based antivirals against DENV has shown an increasing trend in recent years, but the technology has experienced many ups and down.
