After treatment with maqui extract, both post- and pre-Treatment groups, showed a weak trend to down-regulated immune + -NF-кB staining and intensity of the cytosolic NF-кB staining in epithelial cells ( Figures 4C, D ), which was not statistically significant ( Figure 4E ).
