In NSCLC, CD4 + Tcm cell frequencies show an increasing trend ( 80 ), and elevated frequencies of CD8 + Tcm and Tem cells have also been reported ( 18 ); similarly, increased CD8 + Tcm and Tem subsets have been described in head and neck squamous cell carcinoma ( 81 , 82 ).

Patients with non-keratinizing carcinoma or EBV DNA positivity showed a trend toward improved DMFS as well.Safety:S-1 maintenance chemotherapy demonstrated a favorable safety profile, with only 3.2% of patients experiencing grade 3 adverse events.

However, the combination therapy cohort showed a trend toward improved tumor response rates ( 42 ).

We determined that the peripheral MDSC proportions displayed an increasing trend throughout the course of CRT relative to baseline in patients who did not survive at two years after diagnosis whereas patients who survived at two years displayed a downward trend relative to baseline.

No significant correlation was observed, although a slight trend toward lower CD8/CD4 ratios with increasing CD3+ percentages can be appreciated.

Intriguingly, while CXCR2 alteration did not affect dendritic cell, T cell, NK cell, and NKT cell infiltration, it showed a trend towards reducing neutrophil infiltration, particularly in acute colonic inflammation, indicating CXCR2’s primary involvement in neutrophil-mediated inflammation in UC ( 32 ).

By comparing cytokines in patients with pHLH and healthy controls, it was observed that patients with HAVCR2 mutation-associated HLH exhibited an increasing trend in IL-RA levels.
