Partial correlation adjusting for age, sex, and APOE ε4 revealed a positive association between PLEKHA1 expression and CSF total tau (partial r = 0.102, P = 0.036) ( Supplementary Figure S18 ), while PTK2B showed a trend-level inverse correlation with CSF Aβ42 (partial r = −0.078, P = 0.11) ( Supplementary Figure S19 ).
This biggest amount of cells is due to the enhancement of circulating MCs (H 3 = 9.286, p = 0.025; Dunn-Test post-hoc TG 2M vs WT 2M p = 0.04; TG 2M vs TG 4M p = 0.05), an almost significant increase in monocytes (H 3 = 5.97, p = 0.11; Dunn-Test post-hoc TG 2M vs WT 2M p = 0.06; TG 2M vs TG 4M p = 0.03; TG 2M vs WT 4M p = 0.05) and, although not significant, to the general increase of all immune cells considered ( Table 2 ).
The proportion of morning stiffness ( p = 0.015), joint deformity ( p = 0.015), and interstitial lung disease (ILD) ( p = 0.001) in ACPA + RA patients was significantly higher than in ACPA - RA patients, and disease activity score using 28 joint counts (DAS28)-ESR (3) also showed an increasing trend ( p = 0.120).
Figure 5A shows the representative gating strategy used to stratify CD8+ T cells, and total CD8+ T cells were significantly enriched in the combination group compared to IFN + 5Aza ( Figure 5C , p = 0.0003) and trending towards significance in vaccine alone (p=0.1207).
Metastasis status showed a trend toward significance (P = 0.126) Table 2 . 4 Discussion This study aimed to identify molecular prognostic biomarkers associated with neoadjuvant chemotherapy (NAC) response and the immune microenvironment in hormone receptor-positive (HR+)/HER2-negative breast cancer.
Thus, we focused on those two measures to assess if there were any association between treatment and these markers There were no statistically significant differences in the SDI or ratio of F:B in the two treatment groups, although there was a nonsignificant trend towards higher F:B ratio in patients treated with CT (p=0.13, Mann-Whitney) ( Figure 3 ).
As a formal comparison of the TCR repertoires, TCR clonality (measure of the proportion of unique clonotypes of the total repertoire) was examined but there was no difference between the NAE and AE peptide activated CD8 + T cells for the epitopes tested in the chronic HIV-infected subjects and no difference in clonality between chronic and acute HIV-infected subjects ( Figure S2 ; although there was a slight trend for higher clonality in chronic HIV infection, p=0.13).
Excluding the 8 infants who were studied at both time points, HEU infants showed a trend toward higher NK cell proportions at 6 months compared to birth (increase from median of 1.85% at birth to 3.12% at 6 months; p = 0.13), whereas HUU infants had lower NK cell proportions at 6 months compared to birth (decrease from 9.4% at birth to 4.65% at 6 months; p < 0.0001).
Additionally, a multivariable Cox regression analysis showed a trend toward association with poorer overall survival (HR = 1.695, 95% CI: 0.842–3.414, p = 0.139), with several individual genes such as RNF24 (HR = 1.887, CI: 1.378–2.583, P = 7.55 × 10 −5 ) and CEP170 (HR = 1.681, CI: 1.147–2.465, P = 7.55e × 10 −3 ) being independently associated with prognosis ( Figure 6D ).
The levels of other adipokines, including adiponectin, leptin, and plasminogen activator inhibitor-1 (PAI-1) in the adipocytes were similar between the groups, although, a decreasing trend was observed in the levels of adiponectin ( p = 0.14, 6 mice each, Supplementary Data 1 ).
This was not the case for ANGPTL4 and ApoC3, although in the case of ApoC3 the multivariable analysis showed a trend to be significant (beta coef. 0.7 [95%CI -0.3-0.17] mg/dl, p=0.15) ( Table 5 ).
Models comparing responders vs non-responders were adjusted for age, sex, smoking status, baseline DAS28-CRP, and baseline glucocorticoid use; smoking status showed a trend toward association in these models (p < 0.15) but did not reach conventional statistical significance (p ≥ 0.05).
The risk of loss of grafts followed a parallel gradient, with KTs exhibiting the strongest association (RR 2.20, 1.77–2.73; P<.001), contrasting with the borderline significance of the liver (RR 1.97, 0.78–5.01; P = .153) ( Supplementary Figure S4 ).
Although the correlation between the expression of FAT1 and IL-10 was found to have a positive trend (r = 0.145), unlike the CGGA finding, it was not statistically significant (p = 0.163).
A positive trend in Shannon entropy over time may be indicated by the time coefficient (0.037, se = 0.027, P = 0.167), but this effect is also not statistically significant.
Although our survival analysis showed a trend of reduced survival time for donor kidneys with plasma CIRBP concentrations >5.484 ng/mL, further statistical analysis did not support this hypothesis (P=0.167; Figure 5A ).
Median PFS was 18.6 months (95% CI: 14.1–29.5) in the CRT+ICIs group versus 12.1 months (95% CI: 10.1–16.4) in the CRT group, with a nonsignificant trend toward improvement (p = 0.176, Figure 2D ).
These data indicated a trend towards a higher number of activator KIR genes (tel B) in patients achieving a pCR; the difference between the two groups is nearly statistically significant (Fisher exact test, p=0.1787) ( Figure 1 ).
Although no significant significance was observed between pre-and post-IVIG treatment in patients with KD and HCs in terms of pDCs, the MFI of the antigen presenting molecule HLA-DR exhibited a decreasing trend ( P = 0.1822, Figure 2B ; P = 0.3130, Figure 2B ; respectively).
