Interestingly, IL-27 levels showed a moderate (R = 0.3781) albeit highly significant ( p = 0.0007) correlation with sPD-L1 levels, suggestive of a potential role for IL-27 in PD-L1 upregulation in vivo ( Figure 3 B).

Further, in analyses of the GTEx (Genotype Tissue Expression) human post-mortem dataset containing samples from 53 non-diseased tissue sites for nearly 1000 individuals, we observed a highly significant correlation between GHR and MITF expression in sun-exposed (lower-leg; Pearson coefficient = 0.19, p = 0.00071) and not sun-exposed (suprapubic; Pearson coefficient = 0.25, p = 0.00011) normal human skin ( Figure 7 B).

As shown in Figure 4 A, decreasing number of ANCs showed a trend of a negative correlation with elevated levels of CXCL1 (r = −0.2378, p = 0.0008), CXCL2 (r = −0.2542, p = 0.0051), and IL-6 (r = −0.3428, p = 0.0001).
Exploratory subgroup analysis showed that the prognostic impact of MPSol probability was clearly significant in the patients with neoadjuvant CCRT treatment ( n = 218, p = 0.00085), but it was not significant in those with definitive CCRT treatment ( n = 198, p = 0.51) ( Figure S5 ).
The odds ratio (OR) for developing symptomatic brain metastasis in the HER2-positive versus HER2-negative population was highly significant at 8.26 (95%CI 2.09–35.60; p = 0.0009).
However, the correlation of RGVS with the treatment cycle number was highly significant ( p < 0.001) for the breast cancer cohorts ( Figure 5 c).
There was an increasing trend in solid tumors (80.6% vs. 70.7%, p < 0.001).
Association of TSR with Clinico-Pathological Features There is a highly significant correlation between TSR with luminal ER+ histological tumour type and grade (both p < 0.001), but not for TNBC.
Her2 and pHer2 expression levels showed a highly significant correlation as well (Spearman-rho = 0.531; p ≤ 0.001).
Differences were considered non-significant (ns) when p > 0.05, significant (*) when p < 0.05, very significant (**) when p < 0.01, and highly significant (***) when p < 0.001.
The findings of a lesion size larger than 10 mm had a highly significant effect on the outcome ( p < 0.001), with an odds ratio (OR) of 9.72 (95% CI: 2.97 to 31.86), indicating that for an enhancing lesion, having a size larger than 10 mm increases the odds of malignancy by nearly ten times.
In summary, the impact of fatigue level on QoL, physical health, and mental health, adjusting for other factors, was highly significant ( p < 0.001) and had a medium-to-very-large effect size.
With respect to potential biological prognostic factors, highly significant correlations of moderate magnitude were observed between sβ 2 m and serum soluble CD30, serum interleukin-10 and serum ferritin ( p < 0.001 but Spearman’s rho 0.333–0.455), as summarized in Table 2 .
As shown in Figure 2 a, adding ifenprodil resulted in a highly significant decrease in 53BP1 foci (1.6 ± 0.2, p < 0.001) when compared to the Glu treatment alone, whereas adding NBQX led to a significant lower decrease of the number of foci compared to ifenprodil (1.95 ± 0.16, p = 0.026).
In addition, a significant trend of increasing risk of breast cancer was observed when p16 INK4a mRNA expression increased ( p < 0.001).
These changes toward rurality are highly significant, as the p < 0.001 indicates that the counties with low employment and low education levels are geographically isolated, which probably restricts their access to economic and healthcare opportunities. 3.4.
Furthermore, anal cancer highlighted a Joinpoint with a decreasing trend from 2008 to 2014 (APC = −3.7%, 95% CI = −4.7, −2.8; p < 0.001) and a slightly increasing trend in the period 2014–2018 (APC = 1.3% 95% CI = −0.6, 3.3; p = 0.136).
Statistical significance was defined as significant (* p value ≤ 0.05), very significant (** p value ≤ 0.01), and highly significant (*** p value ≤ 0.001). 5.
The difference was highly significant in the Mann–Whitney U test ( p < 0.001).
In parallel, there were also highly significant ( p < 0.001, mean difference 6.7, 95%CI =+ 5.6 + 7.8) changes in total physical activity levels.
[ 74 ] found that the prevalence of ER-negative breast cancer was higher in their diabetic patients compared with the non-diabetic group; however, although the small difference, 32.2% versus 30.6%, was statistically highly significant ( p < 0.001), this may have been affected beyond its biological influence by the large sample sizes.
Kaplan Meier analysis considering tumor size exceeding 800 mm 3 as an endpoint showed a highly significant difference between curves ( p = 0.001) ( Figure 6 A,B).
In the Chi-square test, the OSCC tissue samples showed a highly significant upregulation of CD96 mRNA expression ( p < 0.001) and protein expression ( p = 0.005) compared to the healthy mucosa.
One-way ANOVA revealed highly significant treatment effects for all cell lines and time point combinations ( p = 0.001), with F-statistics ranging from 33.3 to 742.1 ( Table 2 ).
As shown in Supplemental Table S1B and the corresponding forest plot ( Supplemental Figure S1C ), the signature remained a highly significant independent predictor ( p < 0.001) with a high odds ratio when adjusting for prior systemic therapy, IMDC risk category, and the presence of sarcomatoid or rhabdoid features.
