Following addition of a TF blocking antibody, the lag phase did not change in pancreatic cancer patients and healthy controls, Vmax decreased significantly in pancreatic cancer patients but not in controls, ΔAbs decreased significantly in pancreatic cancer patients and in healthy controls, and time to peak fibrin generation was reduced in pancreatic cancer patients with borderline significance, but not in controls ( Figure 2 ). 3.4.
Excerpts
Consequently, the p -value for both cut-off thresholds was almost significant in NAC pre-treated patients.
Despite our meta-analysis showing that PLND does not provide an additional benefit if patients were exposed to NAC before RC, the pooled HRs were on the brink of significance.
BNCT and BNCT + BCG induced a highly significant local antitumor response and a significant abscopal effect in the contralateral non-irradiated leg.
A decreasing trend in body weight was observed in all groups receiving prednisone ( Figure S1 ).
There was a numerical trend for the enrichment of responses in models with low tATM H scores by IHC for AZD6738 monotherapy (38% low vs. 0% high) but no differential for a combination where high tATM models showed >50% TGI responses (63% low vs. 67% high) but with the caveat of a low number of models.
a positive trendgold
In addition, notwithstanding the rushing impact of biotechnology drugs, Big Pharma’s investment in these molecules is constantly on a positive trend, with large numbers of approved new molecular entities [NME] each year [ 17 ].
Data were subjected to statistical analysis, which revealed an increasing trend in mortality after 2011 among persons born after 1976 in the 15–40 age group.
exceedingly significantqualified
The tumor burden became exceedingly significant, to an extent that individual lesions could no longer be reliably counted or measured ( Figure 3 B—9 months, Figure 3 C—11 months).
This result is further confirmed by higher KGR/week rates for the LVD group which contextually showed a decreasing trend (KGR T 1 27.32 ± 16.86 vs.
Frail patients in the ibrutinib arms showed a trend toward improvement in each geriatric domain over time.
North European countries, together with the USA and Australia, count on a tradition in epidemiological studies related to this topic [ 6 , 10 , 13 ]: there was an increasing trend in the rate of PAC in these areas.
Although the benefit of TZD on MM risk was borderline significant ( Table 2 ), patients who had been treated with TZD might have a significantly lower risk of death ( Figure 2 ). 4.2.
The findings suggest a 35% lower risk of multiple myeloma associated with TZD with borderline significance.
While there could be no or little difference in efficacy between the low- and full-dose regimen in young patients, there may be significant difference in elderly patients.
In our analysis, high stress level was almost three times more likely to be observed in cases than in controls, with a significant trend in risk.
The average LGR5 DAB staining in the normal mucosa for the control was 5.4 ± 0.76 (mean ± SEM), γ-rays 4.1 ± 1.33 (mean ± SEM), and 56 Fe 3.77 ± 0.75 (mean ± SEM), indicating a decreasing trend in LGR5 expression after radiation exposure ( Figure S1A ).
A highly significant correlation was found between the two assay systems, which both discriminated between patients with stable and active disease, the highest propeptide levels being recorded in patients with a syndrome of acute myelofibrosis and those with accelerated disease [ 91 ].
a worrying trendgold
Incidence is still rising, and there is a worrying trend of increasing incidence in young adults aged 30–39 years [ 2 ].
We then looked for 13 cellular pathways differentially evaluated using the Nanostring algorithm and reported in Figure 1 A; all the pathways considered showed a trend over an upregulation in LS as compared to SS patients, except for the DNA damage repair (DDR) pathway that was downregulated in LS ( Figure 1 B, left panel).
Although the operative risk may be significant, it has been suggested that cystectomy can significantly improve these patients’ health-related quality of life postoperatively.
However, age at menarche has not been shown to be associated with the risk of in situ breast cancer [ 37 , 38 , 42 , 43 ] when included as a categorical variable, but one study found evidence of a significant trend in age at menarche and decreasing risk of developing in situ breast cancer [ 40 ].
In clone 2, a decreasing trend of SMAD2/3 phosphorylation by dasatinib was observed when a high amount of TGF-β1 was used ( Figure 2 ). 3.3.
Notably, the burden of cancer symptoms may act as a barrier to physical activity participation for some people with MBC, whereas for others, there may be significant interest in physical activity programming despite marked symptom burden [ 29 , 33 ].
There was only a borderline non-significant trend for inferior PFS in patients with proximal tumours.
