Within species, proximate composition variation across sites were found to be partially significant ( P < 0.05 ) for all the studied WEP species ( Fig. 3 ), indicating that the ecological factors including microclimate, soil properties and environmental conditions might be among influencing factor for the proximate composition of WEPs ( Bustrel et al., 2021 ).
