Although the support for the mismatch-interference effect was not equally clear—it was only marginally significant in two of the eye tracking measures, and there was some evidence in the exploratory data analysis with cumulative progressions—the two interference effects have important theoretical implications for the generality of the retrieval mechanisms in sentence processing, and so should not be ignored.

3.6 Regression model for predictors of COVID-19 conspiracy theories beliefs A regression model was prepared including as predictors all the variables significantly associated with COVID-19 Conspiracy Theory Beliefs from the previous analyses (education years, COVID-related health concerns, pandemic-related financial concerns, CAPE subscales) as well as variables that were only marginally significant (leaving the house, smoking frequency during confinement, pandemic-related budget reductions, ERQ Cognitive Reappraisal, PANAS Negative, timing for questionnaire completion).
Both age above 60 years compared with 60 years or less and age above 65 versus 65 years or lessdecreased the odds of recurrence (OR 0.86 (0.70 to 1.05) and OR 0.72 (0.54 to 0.96); both 7 studies), but this was not significant or only marginally significant respectively.
Secure attachment ( β = 20.16, p < 0.10), immature defense ( β = −59.33, p < 0.10) mechanisms and the interaction between secure attachment × mature defense mechanisms ( β = −3.73, p < 0.10) were only marginally significant.
Although mean changes in both HL and CETP from the baseline diet showed only marginally significant differences between the HSF and LSF diets, inclusion of both of these activities in a model also containing diet assignment indicated that change in CETP but not HL activity remained significantly associated with change in small LDL particle concentration, suggesting that the increase in CETP may have contributed in part to the effect of high saturated fat intake on these particles, and that the HL association was dependent on this CETP effect.
However, the SNP-by-sex interaction for rs2281285 was only marginally significant, indicating that perhaps rs2281285 is not the causal variant, but rather is in LD with a causal variant (or multiple variants) that is also tagged by the PDYN -spanning haplotype.
The positive effect of Cl on species richness was still significant when the influence of P S was removed, while the positive effect of Ps was only marginally significant after controlling for Cl ( Table 2 ).
It is worth mentioning that the association between FA and the number of respiratory infections was only marginally significant when controlled for potential confounders (age, height, weight, and socio-economic status).
Discussion Speakers' language switching was influenced by the cartoon’s choice of the color square, although this effect was only marginally significant.
However, the increase in FC between the left DLPFC and right VLPFC was only marginally significant for iTBS.
The opposing main effects were now of the same size ( β HOS = 0.13, t = 2.90, p < 0.01; β HER = −0.13, t = −2.68, p < 0.01), and the negative interaction was only marginally significant.
In contrast, subgroup differences for depression were only marginally significant, warranting cautious interpretation.
Furthermore, although the separate analyses of the critical and control trials provided a clear picture, the overall three-way interaction effect was only marginally significant.
The pooled result from the current analysis was only marginally significant with a high heterogeneity (I 2 =96%).
Parental smoking at the time of interview was only marginally significant; however, when restricted to daily smokers, it remained significant in the multivariable model (data not shown).
The Cu2 line showed increasing α-Toc levels at lower copper concentration and a marked decrease at 200 μM Cu 2+ , but the quadratic relationship with copper concentration was only marginally significant (Table 4 ).
22) RV-EDV was found to be only marginally significant as a predictor of a negative outcome. 21) Overstimulation of both the rennin-angiotensin aldosterone system (RAAS) and the sympathetic nervous system, increased development of growth factors, oxidative stress, or endothelial dysfunction are among the potential mechanisms that could explain the conn
Because the main effect of Category and its interaction with Scene are only marginally significant, we ran a Bayesian repeated-measures ANOVA of design identical to the aforementioned one so that we could further understand their effects on the data.
Thus, the results provide some support for the idea that vivid environmental mental images help strengthen the effect of weak pro-environmental goals on behavior, or make existing goals more focal – but it should be noted that this effect was only marginally significant.
However, this group difference was only marginally significant within the younger and older subgroup analyses, and both autistic individuals and controls showed similar age-associated volumetric declines.
In model 4, we found that patients with HbA1c <5.5% (<37 mmol/mol) had 33% (95% CI, 13%, 56%) and 18% (95% CI, 11%, 25%) higher rates of infection-related and all-cause mortality respectively, compared with patients with HbA1c 5.5 to <6.5% (37 to <48 mmol/mol), but these associations became either no longer significant (infection-related mortality) or only marginally significant (all-cause mortality) after adjusting for time-varying but not baseline laboratory values ( Supplementary Table S2 ).
Although body mass index (BMI) was negatively associated with SWB, this relationship was only marginally significant, suggesting the possibility that the adverse impact of BMI on subjective well-being may be more pronounced at higher BMIs.
As noted above when discussing the results in table 1 , women who had an early sexual debut were slightly more likely to be infected than those who delayed it (11.1% and 7.6%, respectively; p<0.10), although the difference was only marginally significant.
These observations suggest that the final negative binomial GLARMA model produces adequate fit to the data. In the final negative binomial GLARMA model, the terms associated with temperature, temperature range, day of the week, and secular time trend remain significant, while the month of year effect was only marginally significant; see Table 1 .
According to Brackett and Mayer ( 2003 ), emotional intelligence (EI) is highly significant connected with neuroticism, extraversion, agreeableness, and conscientiousness, but only marginally significant correlated with openness to experience (OI).
