“only just failed to reach significance”

Risk factors for FeLV seropositivity Age, sex and neutering status were not found to be risk factors for FeLV infection ( P = 0.87, P = 0.50 and P = 0.63, respectively), and sampling location only just failed to reach significance ( P = 0.06).

Of note however, the increased risk of seroconversion of staff working in the emergency department only just failed to reach significance (OR 1.38, 95% 0.98 to 1.93, p=0.062).

EDSS and disease duration at LP showed no significant correlations with any of the biomarkers; however, the correlation between age and disease duration at LP (ρ = 0.39; p = 0.056) as well as between disease duration and EDSS at LP (ρ = 0.4; p = 0.061) only just failed to reach significance. 3.

No significant effect of condition (i.e., remote vs in person) on motor performance was found, although the study was appropriately powered and the analyses only just failed to reach significance.

However, the variable ‘number of diagnoses’ only just failed to reach significance for the final model, and it is well established that depression and severity of disease are closely related to each other, as is multimorbidity [9] .
