To explore the prognostic potential of the proteomic targets, we used classification and regression trees (CART) to identify patterns of proteins that would robustly classify STS from LTS using the significant proteomic targets; for classification, we used the 7 significantly differentially expressed proteomic targets, as well as YWHAQ, which was of borderline significance.
