However, the strongest association of severe SGA with cause-specific mortality was noted for death due to infection (HR = 3.19 in the population-based analysis and HR = 4.24 in the sibling-based analysis), followed by neurologic disease (HR = 2.22 in the population-based analysis and HR = 1.97 in the sibling-based analysis) and injury (HR = 1.32 in the population-based analysis and HR = 1.43 in the sibling-based analysis), although some associations were of borderline significance in the sibling-based analyses.
In contrast the evidence of any increased prevalence in former snuff users is much weaker, with one case-control study [ 26 ] reporting no increase, one cross-sectional study [ 39 ] an increase of borderline significance, another cross-sectional study [ 31 ] an increase, but based on very few subjects, and one experimental study [ 23 ] reporting resolution of the great majority of lesions in US Air Force trainees after 6 weeks of a mandatory tobacco-free period.
Women with asthma were significantly less likely to develop breast cancer among participants of NHS; this association was of borderline significance in NHS II, but statistically significant when data from both cohorts were combined (multivariable hazard ratio [HR] 0.92; 95% confidence interval [CI] 0.87–0.98) (Table 3 ).
13 The short-lived positive initial impulse is a case of borderline significance only. 14 It appears that the impulse response functions significantly change for the small model when the sum-of coefficient prior and the dummy observation prior are applied. 15 See, for example, Wolters ( 2015 ) and Rubaszek ( 2021 ) on ways to present competing forecast results. 16 https://github.com/european-central-bank/BEAR-toolbox , last accessed 22 July 2022.

Further, significantly lower odds of vaccine acceptance were found in the 5th (aOR: 0.10; 95% CI: 0.04–0.24) and 4th (aOR: 0.34; 95% CI: 0.16–0.74) wealth index quintile, and lower odds of borderline significance were found in the 2nd (aOR: 0.49, 95% CI: 0.23–1.04) wealth index quintile when compared to the 1st quintile, i.e. the poorest households.
Specific associations varied by vaccine and dose and should be interpreted with caution, particularly when results are counterintuitive, conflicting, of borderline significance or so small as to be not meaningful for example RV1 uptake being higher among unmarried mothers, or crowded households being associated with higher uptake of PCV13 coverage but lower uptake of RV1 and MV.
If, instead of fitting the dependence of myelination on local axon density, we simply counted the fraction of oligodendrocytes that myelinated, by averaging over all the sampled images, then the results were broadly similar, except that NMDA receptor block in control conditions produced a reduction of myelination of borderline significance ( Figure S3D ).
