Participants in the Sativex group demonstrated a pattern of improved cognitive performance as measured by the QbTest, nominally significant improvements in symptoms of hyperactivity/impulsivity ( P =.03), and trends toward improvement for inattention and emotional lability.

We identified a nominally significant association (p = 0.03; Odds ratio (OR) = 3.13) between a 6 kbp deletion in an intron of NEDD4L and increased risk of asthma.
The treatment effect for 360 mg, every 2 weeks vs placebo was nominally significant (−16.3%; nominal P = .03); however, significance could not be claimed because the hierarchical testing sequence was interrupted.
The largest effect was found in CATIE, albeit with a large standard error, while the most significant effect was found in STAR*D, where all the tested P T showed nominally significant associations ( p = .03–2.5 × 10 −3 , R 2 = 0.5%–1.1%; Table S4 ).
While post hoc analyses failed to reveal any significant evidence that overall CNV carriership was associated with ADHD subtype, ADHD symptom dimension, or presence of oppositional defiant disorder, we did observe a nominally significant association (p=0.03 uncorrected) between conduct disorder and carriers of 15q13.3 duplications.
However, among the 116 EpiScores, only CXCL10 showed a nominally significant difference ( p = 0.03 95% CI: 0.001–0.0188; Figure 1 ), but this did not remain significant after FDR adjustment, highlighting the uncertainty of small effect sizes. 3.5.
Among the 13 analyzed miRNAs, rno-let-7b-5p showed a nominally significant 1.5-fold increase in serum EVs from allergic rats (unadjusted p = 0.03); no multiple-testing correction was applied.
The association between the eigengene of the brown module (consisting of 35 genes) and case status was nominally significant (p = 0.03, S9 Table ).
9 A nominally significant interaction between NYHA class at randomization and the effect of treatment was seen for the primary endpoint (better outcomes with NYHA class I–II; p =0.03; without adjustment for multiple comparisons), but not for the interaction between NYHA class and the effect on death from CV causes ( p =0.76). 9 Although the interaction is nominal, it confers a greater CV benefit to sacubitril/valsartan when initiated early in the course of HFrEF.
We also observed a nominally significant enrichment of SZ-GWAS genes (1.8-fold enrichment, P = 0.03, two-sided Fisher’s Exact test; Table 1 ).
These associations were also identified as nominally significant in CTRP, whereby GO process “Growth” is associated with PC2 ( P = 0.03) and “Regulation of Apoptosis” is associated with PC3 ( P = 0.01) and PC5 ( P = 0.01).
In the CARDIoGRAMplusC4D consortium, there was a nominally significant association with coronary artery disease (OR per minor allele, 0.98; 95% CI, 0.96-1.00; P = .03).
We also found nominally significant discrimination of unaffected siblings from healthy controls based on successful stop activation maps (AUC = 0.59, p < 0.030, 95% Modified Wald CI: 0.52–0.66 AUC) as well as nominally significant discrimination between participants with ADHD and healthy controls based on failed stop activation maps (AUC = 0.60, p < 0.019, 95% Modified Wald CI: 0.54–0.66 AUC, Fig. 1 ; for balanced accuracy, sensitivity and specificity measures in the complete and matched sample see Supplementary Table 2 ).
Mitochondrial haplogroup U showed a nominally significant lower risk for PD (OR = 0.51, p-value = 0.03, 95%CI = 0.28–0.92).
Conversely, no differences were found for FH and FHR-3 ( p > 0.05), while FHR-1 showed a nominally significant ( p = 0.03) increase in the recall setting.
(iii) Nominally significant overlap ( P < 0.03) between the downregulated SARS-CoV-2 associated DEGs in patients’ PBMCs and downregulated age associated DEGs in healthy ageing blood.
Children of these 27 mothers had a nominally significant increase in dnSNVs after correcting for parental age and data quality ( P = 0.03, two-sided Wilcoxon test).
When adjusting for clinical risk factors, 6 proteins were significantly associated with either MACE or HHF (FDR-adjusted p -value < 0.05), while for the time to DECLARE’s composite renal outcome, IGFBP6 was nominally significant ( p -value = 0.03; Fig. 4C–E ).
The rs7412 minor allele, coding the APOE ε2 allele, showed the opposite‐direction nominally significant effect in mega‐analysis ( β = 0.58, p = 3.04 × 10 −2 ).
HLA-A-24 -like and MAGOHB were nominally significant ( p = 0.031 and p = 0.008) and harbored 112 and 12 variants, of which 14 and 5 SNPs were significant, respectively.
Subjects with PTSD were significantly younger than control subjects ( p < 0.001) and were more frequently smokers, although this effect was only nominally significant ( p = 0.031) and did not reach the level of significance after correction.
Among all methods and metabolites, only the weighted median estimate for GCST90277281 indicated a nominally significant association (OR = 0.93, 95% CI: 0.87–0.99, P = .031), suggesting a possible weak inverse effect.
A further nominally significant difference was observed for case 8 (p=0.031), which did not survive Bonferroni correction.
This dose group (10 mg TID) at 8 weeks also showed nominally significant improvement (Fig. 4 ) for both the ABC-C FX Irritability subscale ( p = 0.031, effect size 0.51) and the Parenting Stress Index ( p = 0.032, effect size 0.42), and trends toward improvement on the ABC-C FX Hyperactivity subscale ( p = 0.081, effect size 0.44) and the CGI-I ( p = 0.119, effect size 0.43) (Fig. 5a ).
When we re-analyzed these associations in follow-up models using DNAm age residuals that did not account for estimated WBCs (i.e., only age, sex, and the first two PCs were regressed out of DNAm age estimates), we found that results for measured WBCs were unchanged, but results for CRP were nominally significant, though they missed our a priori corrected p -value threshold (β = 0.15, p = 0.031; Figure S4 ).
