However, stratified analysis by PRS-AD suggested a protective effect of inherited longer TL on core AD pathology, with longer TL nominally significant associated with lower levels of p-tau among individuals at high genetic predisposition of AD.

Over-representation analysis of all 1,980 nominally significant variants revealed that TB-IRIS risk variants were significantly enriched in pathways including B cell receptor activation, FcγR-dependent phagocytosis, IFN-γ signalling, and neutrophil degranulation, while protective variants were associated with heme biosynthesis, IL-10 synthesis, and class I MHC pathways ( Figure 1B ).
In FinnGen, the TYK2 and PE association was also nominally significant; however, the HEIDI test was significant (P < 0.05), indicating heterogeneity that is more consistent with LD-driven linkage than a single shared causal variant.
The same five of the ten loci reported above remained genome-wide significant ( APOE , CHRNA3 , LPA , ANRIL , and SH2B3 ) with the remaining loci remaining nominally significant.
Twenty of the mutations showed nominally significant departure from this null hypothesis, but only three of them showed significant evidence after correcting for multiple testing ( p ‐value < 1.7 × 10 –7 ; Table 3 , Table S6 ).
For the 15 metabolomic biomarkers associated with both BMI and NAFLD risk, the associations between genetically predicted BMI with metabolomic biomarkers were of a consistent direction in all cases and nominally significant for 11 biomarkers ( Figure 3 ).
Linear regression analysis of log-transformed metabolite concentrations revealed a nominally significant association with FLD for 19 of the 138 metabolites (13.8%; Table S3 ).
Although it is tempting to speculate about the translational relevance of this finding, caution is suggested in the interpretation since the association was only nominally significant and disappeared when GBA variants were included in the analysis.
Comparing LA voltage in areas where CDA were present or absent, nominally significant differences were observed, with lower voltage in areas with LIA.
All 43 lead SNPs retained the same direction of effect across all leave-one-trait-out models, and 39 of 43 lead SNPs remained nominally significant in every leave-one-trait-out specification.
Two-sided P < 0.05 was considered nominally significant.
ADOS-2 TOT and Social Affect were nominally significant with large effect sizes (both d ≈ 0.9) but did not survive Bonferroni; Restricted Repetitive Behavioral scale showed no evidence of group difference ( Figure 1 shows group comparison on ADOS-2).
Measurements of MX2/GPR183 fold-changes at the time points highlighted in yellow achieve nominally significant discrimination for at least two RRR regimen RTS,S cohorts.
The proportion mediated was calculated only when both the total effect and indirect effect were nominally significant; otherwise, the proportion mediated was considered statistically unstable and is not reported as a primary outcome. 22 Bidirectional and Sensitivity Analyses Reverse causation was assessed by testing the effects of genetic liability to IVDD on GM and ICs, using genome-wide statistically significant SNPs ( P <5×10 −8 ) as instruments.
Fasinumab 1 mg monthly also showed nominally significant benefits in physical function in both trials and pain in FACT OA2, when compared to the maximum FDA-approved prescription doses of NSAIDs for OA.
Albeit only nominally significant ( Figure 2 ) for the single pathway member, multiple intermediates of the AA metabolism were elevated ( Figure 3A , orange pathway): first, DHA, an ω-3 fatty acid, also called cervonic acid; as DHA is an inhibitor of prostaglandin synthase [29] , this probably displays a counter-regulatory - albeit insufficient - mechanism of MUHO's adipocytes.
Among the metabolites showing FDR significant association with IS in clinically healthy subjects of Arab descent, we replicated the same trend at the nominally significant p-value for almost all amino acids apart of histidine (Table 1 ).
The estimated mean difference was very similar between groups at 9 months (about −3 kg; Figure 2B,E ), while weight loss tended to be more pronounced in the oral semaglutide group at 18 months, which was nominally significant for the trial product estimand (−2.6 kg; 95% C.I. from −5.2 to −0.1; Figure 2E ).
However, no SNP was statistically significant in any of the replication sets after accounting for multiple comparisons, and no SNP was nominally significant in the meta-analysis.
Stage III: Confirmation of associations between eQTL SNPs and QTs in twin cohort In Stage III, nominally significant eQTL SNPs and those in LD (r 2 >0.8) were tested for association with the QTs with which the relevant expression probes were previously correlated (Stage I), in the larger cohort of 2,905 female twins ( Figure 1 ).
Interestingly, the nominally significant change observed in the autism trial was driven by a strong response in a subset of participants ( Veenstra-VanderWeele et al , 2017 ).
Similarly, analysis of combined FIGHT-202 ( n = 104) and FIGHT-207 ( n = 11) data for patients with cholangiocarcinoma (Supplementary Table 6 ) did not result in any change to the identification of co-altered genes significantly correlated with best overall response to pemigatinib, and only TP53 was found to be nominally significant (significance was not maintained following stringency correction for multiple testing).
Out of 25 loci, 7 showed nominally significant associations with at least one of the three global NODDI markers (NDI, ODI, ISOVF).
(2018) , in a sample also included in this study (TCD), observed a nominally significant association between increasing MIR137 PRS and decreasing brain volume, independent of diagnosis status, although there was no significant association between MIR137 PRS and cortical thickness, surface area or hippocampal volume, yielding only suggestive evidence of MIR137 impact on cortical structure.
We selected pathways that were co-mutated in 2 or more samples, and had a co-occurrence P value that was nominally significant.
