Prediction of Dementia and Decline Univariate logistic regression analysis revealed a significant association between low Aβ 42 at baseline and conversion to dementia as well as near-significant associations both between memory decline in the first 2 years of follow-up as well as slightly below normal executive T score at baseline, and development of dementia (Table 5 ).
We found that mRNA expression of monocyte chemoattractant protein-1 (MCP-1) and toll-like receptor-4 (TLR-4) were significantly increased in FR1 mice compared with control mice, and the mRNA expression of interleukin-6 (IL-6) and tumor necrosis factor-α (TNF-α) showed a near-significant increase compared with the control.
The near-significant difference in capsule completion, together with the highly significant transit-time prolongation, supports the need for a larger prospective study powered for completion rate and the need for repeat examination as clinically meaningful endpoints.
For instance, Higashikawa and colleagues [ 42 ] assessed the anti-obesity effect of Pediococcus pentosaceus LP28 among 62 overweight individuals in a randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled fashion and noted that the probiotic group experienced a near-significant mean difference from placebo for BMI (mean, [95CIs]; -0.33 kg/m 2 [-0.74, 0.08]) following a 12-week intervention.
In contrast, risk behaviors that place participants in exposure to potentially contaminated environment near the household, such as contact with mud, sewage water, or garbage, and cleaning an open sewer, had a significant or near-significant association with both primary and secondary infections.
Conclusions : Across 401 real-world procedures in isolated popliteal and/or SFA disease, mean ABI gain was identical between arms, yet DCB delivered measurably more complete symptomatic recovery and a near-significant halving of composite patency loss at 12 months, with both signals robust to multivariable adjustment.
