Differences in cognitive scores between PLWH and older HIV‐negative controls appeared at least marginally statistically significant; however, the size of the association with HIV infection itself (effect sizes of −0.14 and −0.17 for older and younger PLWH, respectively) appeared to be moderate, broadly equating to the association seen between mild/moderate depression and the global Z ‐score (effect sizes of −0.08 and −0.17, respectively).
Similarly, few statistically significant differences in diagnostic accuracy were observed between countries when taking Austria as the reference with only Denmark ( p = 0.029) and Italy ( p = 0.024) being marginally statistically significant in some comparisons ( Table S6 ). 4.
** When results are analyzed separately by the language pairs in which participants were addressed, we find that effects are similar in magnitude and are marginally statistically significant for the following pairs: Dutch and Spanish (N = 154), German and Spanish (N = 104), and Mandarin and English (N = 108) and similar but nonsignificant for the following pairs: Dutch and English (N = 192), Dutch and French (N = 188), German and English (N = 206), German and French (N = 140), and Mandarin and French (N = 48). †† We additionally tested whether results were predicted by the actual time of the day for the participant by including the time stamps in the main regression models (adjusted to participant’s location).
After further adjusting age, sex, PS score, and clinical stage in the logistic regression model, it can also be found that the association between average vessel length and treatment unresponsiveness (SD + PD) remained marginally statistically significant, suggesting that the enhanced pro‐angiogenic capacity of CD33 + MDSCs may represent a risk factor for treatment unresponsiveness in SCLC (Table 3 ). 3.4.
Discussion This meta-analysis on the clinical outcomes of systematic electrocardiogram-based AF screening in individuals without known AF has three key findings: 1) AF screening is associated with a marginally statistically significant 7% relative reduction in the incidence of stroke and systemic embolism, 2) there is no signal of an increase harm in terms of major bleeding events, and 3) screening has no effect on all-cause mortality.
From typical phonation to soft phonation, most participants adjusted along both the PC2 (reduced vocal fold adduction) and PC1 (increased cricothyroid muscle activation), with changes in PC1 and PC2 both significantly differently from zero (except for female participants in which changes in PC1 were marginally statistically significant).
